In Huzhou’s treasured Youwa Village, even giraffes are the “resident villagers” here

Some time ago, Mo Mo shared with you that these niche baby walking places within a 2-hour drive from Hangzhou are highly recommended. Many parents have said that they hope this series can be more popular. Write some.

However, if you want to find a fun place to walk your baby, you really need luck and good physical fitness (taking care of a baby is tiring, especially if you are 2 years old and can run well).

Finally, I worked up the courage to take my children for an outing last weekend.

This time the destination is 50 kilometers away from Hangzhou, and about 150 kilometers away from Shanghai and Nanjing. The free shipping areas of Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang were quite convenient in the past.

It is surrounded by green bamboo, and the forest coverage rate of the whole village reaches more than 70%. You can see acres of rice fields, vegetable gardens and children's wooden swings and seesaws in the near distance. In the distance, you can also see bamboo forests, tea fields and egrets flying over from time to time.

It's a bit like the scene depicted in "Little Woods".

Think about the location of "Little Forest"

Speaking of which, have you guessed the place I am going to talk about today?

No more selling out. The place I want to talk about today is Miaoshan Village in Wuxing District, Huzhou City.

On weekends, I prefer to take my children to play in the countryside. Firstly, I also like to stay in the countryside because it feels quieter. Secondly, the natural scenery in the countryside is good and children can play in the vast space. Run (FANG) run (DIAN).

For example, it suddenly ran out of the camera

And Huzhou is really a model (or originator) of beautiful rural construction. Starting from Mogan Mountain and ending in Deqing and Anji, there are various ecological villages. The supporting facilities of the villages are excellent, there are brand hotels, and there are also many parent-child paradises, which are very suitable for short vacations.

Therefore, I go to Huzhou every year, and there are so many snacks in Huzhou! I have also recommended the forgotten gourmet town by Taihu Lake before. I should make its debut this summer.

But even so, I don’t know the existence of Miaoshan Village. I went there entirely because of the hotel I wanted to stay in during the weekend: Huixin Valley, which is in that village.

After the car got off the highway, I drove along County Road 306. My first impression was that the road was pretty good and there were mountains and forests all around. After driving past the signboard of Xisai Mountain Resort, we are getting closer and closer to Miaoshan Village.

I can’t take pictures while driving, this is the official website picture

Next, I saw some iconic rural buildings. For example, in this park, the cranes in the middle have their own fairy energy 24 hours a day (I also saw it when I went back the next night).

It looks a bit cute from a distance.

If you drive further, you will see a neat vegetable field, and it feels like every vegetable grows about the same height.

In the center of the vegetable garden, there is actually a swing for children! ! After seeing it, I really wanted to park the car on the side of the road and let my baby play inside. After hesitating for a few seconds, I found there was nowhere to park, so I continued to drive forward.

Swing in the vegetable garden

About ten minutes later, I saw the sign for Giraffe Manor.

Going further, I didn’t expect another surprise. There is an aerial trail on the rice field next to the village.

It looks pretty good from a distance. The bridge is decorated with bamboo and has undulating heights. It feels a bit like the bamboo forest buildings I saw in Yucun before.

The trail was winding and connected to a high viewing platform, which was about one kilometer long, so I couldn't help but stop the car and take a look.

The walking trails in Miaoshan Village are quite well laid out. The top is for pedestrians, with guardrails on both sides, and the bottom is a bicycle path for riding.

Even on the weekend, there are very few people here, maybe because of the newly established relationship.

Along the way, you can see various rural landscapes, such as rice fields and bamboo forests; the trails are thoughtfully marked with arrows and marked with English annotations!

Children will like this very much. He will point to the pattern of the riding track and ask me what it is.

The cycling path feels soft to the feet, and there is a vegetable patch next to it. The little one feels very fresh here. He does not need to be held at all, he will explore by himself (my child likes to ride on roads with different textures) ).

We didn’t walk the entire distance because we still had to check in at the hotel, but we really felt that the open public area in the village was very nice, and the villagers would be very happy to be able to walk here every day.

On the opposite side of the plank road, there is also a vegetable garden and children's play facilities under construction.

I couldn’t help but sigh: Miaoshan Village is a village where you can stop and play with your children anywhere!

Miaoshan Village is surrounded by mountains on three sides, surrounded by tea fields and bamboo forests. There are not many hotels and B&Bs here, but the quality is quite good. For example, Huixingu Green Luxury Resort, Xisai Mountain Resort Villa Hotel, Yanshe, etc.

There is also the Internet celebrity Giraffe Manor, which is one of the few places in China that has moved a zoo into a hotel (although it is a bit tricky).

I stayed at Huixin Valley Green Luxury Resort. Before going, I actually didn't have high expectations for this hotel.

Because in recent years, with the development of B&Bs and resorts, various types of wooden houses, thatched cottages, folk houses, tree houses and antique buildings have sprung up around Hangzhou.

Many of them are just for a good-looking appearance, but the service and catering are not up to par.

But after living there, I felt it was "really fragrant".

It is a hotel located in the middle of the mountain. It is built according to the mountain and the hotel is embedded in the bamboo forest. According to the different scenery, it is divided into tea residence, bamboo residence and mountain residence.

I prefer this kind of operation, it feels like "planting a house" in the forest.

The room type I stayed in this time was the Bamboo House, which was also halfway up the mountain (the hotel has 27 guest rooms and 63 independent villas on the mountain).

Before coming, the butler will confirm with me in advance the activities I need to participate in, the time to arrive at the store and whether I need to eat. After arriving, I can contact the butler at any time if I have any questions.

All travel is done by golf shuttle bus. It usually only takes a few minutes to wait. The service experience is quite good.

The room type of Zhuju is also super good. It is a two-bedroom villa, which is especially suitable for family travel. After entering the door, you will come to the small living room on the second floor, which will be equipped with a sink.

On the table are tea drinks, welcome fruits, a disinfection cabinet (with various tea and coffee utensils inside), a sofa for one person and a small sofa for many people with a tray.

This small area is quite functional.

Firstly, you can store some luggage, secondly, it will be more convenient to make milk powder for your child, and thirdly, you can drink some tea and read a book when the baby falls asleep.

The books and tea sets it chooses are really based on my interests. When I stay in a hotel, I actually pay more attention to details and aesthetics.

At night, after turning off the lights, I can still see the silhouette of bamboo in the gauze curtain.

Entering the room from the living room, the layout of the room is actually relatively simple, and the overall tone is quite soft.

The focus of the room is not the bed, but the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room.

Pushing the door open, I found a large terrace hidden outside.

Everywhere you look, there are patches of bamboo forest. It is said that the entire hotel covers an area of ??300 acres, of which only 11 acres are for construction. The rest are bamboo forests and tea gardens, so sitting there is particularly artistic.

In addition, the bathroom in the room is very large and spacious. The makeup mirrors all have large screens, which makes girls happier.

There doesn’t seem to be much special about the toiletries provided. The smart flush toilet has many exaggerated functions, but I don’t care much about these.

And there is another room on the first floor. After going down the stairs, you will feel that the room is particularly transparent and the floor is very high.

The privacy between the rooms on the two floors is very good, which is quite important.

The second floor has direct access to the large terrace on the first floor, and the doors of both rooms can be locked separately.

There is a smiley face symbol on the door handle

The rooms on the first floor are also relatively simple in layout. Their bed doesn't seem too big, but the best part is that it has a huge floor-to-ceiling glass, so you can enjoy the scenery when you walk out.

The room also has a living room, which is more suitable for family members to chat together.

The outdoor space on the first floor is larger than that on the second floor. There is a set of green bamboo chairs outside, which is quite comfortable to sit outside when the weather is warmer.

In my child's eyes, it seems like it is a tunnel that can be drilled.

Overall, I think it’s quite comfortable to live here. The outdoor and indoor functional areas are divided reasonably, and there is quite a lot of space for activities.

The best thing must be the design of the terrace, because it really embraces nature 360 ??degrees.

However, it may be limited by the area, so the bed will be slightly smaller. In addition, it seems that there are no children's products provided.

These are not big problems. I feel that it is worthy of its name and in line with its positioning of "green luxury".

In addition, the public area of ??the hotel looks pretty good.

It uses a lot of huge panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing people to see the vast mountain forest while eating breakfast, drinking coffee, and practicing yoga.

We all dine in the Xia Mu Restaurant on the second floor. I specifically searched Dianping and found that this restaurant should have the highest star rating among the surrounding restaurants.

We will also pass through a bamboo forest path to the restaurant.

The setting of the entire restaurant is also very pleasing to the eye, and you can always find some nice little details.

As for the taste, I think it’s okay. There are many choices for breakfast, including wontons and noodles that can be ordered a la carte (Huzhou noodles are delicious), as well as some regional specialties, such as Huzhou rice.

For dinner, just make a reservation and order, and the waiter will arrange a seat for you.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is also relatively relaxed, with an open lobby on the second floor.

There are many categories to choose from, including various special farm dishes.

We ordered a cold dish, an orange juice shrimp, a spareribs, bamboo shoots and papaya soup and a bowl of Huzhou handmade noodles. The price is 357 per person.

Generally speaking, it is a waste of effort and not particularly delicious, but the taste is okay.

The restaurant naturally has a large terrace. It has outdoor dining areas and a small infinity pool. Of course, in winter everyone just goes out to take a look and then comes in to eat.

The most beautiful public area of ??the hotel should be its Genting Space. This one is located on the top of the mountain. At night, you can not only overlook the panoramic view of the entire hotel, but also have a special area for stargazing.

If the weather is good, it is quite easy to see the stars here.

You can also practice yoga in the Genting Space. Among the hotel’s special activities are sunrise yoga and sunset yoga. Guests can participate for free. (Except private lessons)

If you come in summer, you can also practice outdoors.

Official photo of the hotel

In addition, the hotel has designed an outdoor space for “little adventurers” for children. This place is more suitable for children aged 2-10, but not too young.

Mainly there are some rock climbing facilities plus slides and trampolines.

There is a special zipline project for children in the bamboo forest, with coaches, but reservations are required (this is an optional project).

Although the space is not large, it is enough for daily use.

The activity area for children is at the foot of the mountain. When the lights are on at night, the roads here are very beautiful, and you can take them for a walk.

Finally, to sum up, I really think Huixin Valley is quite suitable for a family vacation. The environment is really great, the overall layout and facilities are very reasonable, and the aesthetics of the hotel are really good.

It is worth planting, but the price of calendar rooms is still quite expensive now. You can wait for a better price in the future.

Miaoxi Town, where Miaoshan Village is located, has many hiking attractions. For example, the Luyu Ancient Road (also known as the Xiamu Mountain Ancient Road) was once selected as one of the top ten ancient roads in China. There are also Miaofeng Mountain, Bailu Valley, Xiamu Mountain Scenic Area...

Before we arrived, the hotel’s housekeeper sent us an activity list, which basically included nearby attractions.

However, these may be more suitable for adults. Moreover, I seemed reluctant to run out after staying in the hotel, so I only went to Giraffe Manor after checking out the next day.

Giraffe Manor, this Internet celebrity attraction really makes children happy and adults desperate.

Its ticket price is 120 yuan, and Dianping’s booking price is 90 yuan. It does not seem very expensive, but it is not very friendly to non-guests and there are many hidden costs.

For example, there is a charge for battery cars entering scenic spots (10 yuan/person), and they only drive for 1 kilometer.

The carrots in the scenic area are very expensive, 30 yuan/portion, and only some are available. Apples are 20 yuan/portion. You are encouraged to feed the birds, cormorants, and raccoons... It feels like animal feeding is really It's very profitable.

In addition, the children's play area in Giraffe Manor also requires an additional fee (30 yuan/person), which is charged separately for indoor and outdoor use. Even the claw machine was complained about and even more than 100 yuan was invested without being caught.

The consumer experience of charging for admission to the park is so bad that it is better to be all-inclusive.

The name of the restaurant says Haer Bing Handmade Dumplings. As a result, you can often see aunties coming to the freezer to get quick-frozen dumplings. The curry rice is 58 yuan, and the side dishes are really small.

In short, after arriving, I felt like a leek being harvested.

Moreover, it was uphill and downhill all the way. There were too many uphill roads. I was really exhausted here (I wanted to cry while holding the baby).

In terms of environment, it is indeed not bad. However, there are very few places to see with the 90 yuan ticket. Except for some giraffes at the entrance, there is only a small tribe of cute pets (I feel that the name is misleading, they are obviously wild animals).

There are silly little kangaroos and toucans inside... The park is relatively open, and there are also peacocks and ostriches walking around.

It’s really a plus if the hotel you stay in has such an area.

But if you feed them too much, they feel like they are going to become sperms. Especially the giraffes. When they see carrots, they will come over and stick out their long black tongues. They can consciously enter the camera and cooperate with tourists' photo services.

If you ask me, how about living here? I actually don't want to come and live there. Because the public area of ??the hotel is open, there will be many tourists, and it will be very crowded if you want to visit the zoo by yourself on weekends.

After all, accommodation here is not cheap.

And I have seen some room types in Giraffe Manor, and the area of ????the rooms is about 40 square meters. There are mountain views and bamboo views, but the terrain may be lower. In terms of landscape, Huixin Valley is better.

As a day tripper, I spent more than 400 on a simple meal here (154) + entrance fee (180) + 2 bags of carrots and 1 bag of apples (80) in three hours.

If you drive specifically to visit this attraction, I still don’t recommend it.

Originally I wanted to play by myself this time and didn’t want to bring work with me, but Miaoshan Village is really worth recommending to everyone. When spring comes, the tea fields here will turn green and the wild flowers will bloom. More beautiful.

When the time comes, you can go hiking on Xiamu Mountain.

You can go to Liangxi Forest Park to enjoy flowers.

You can go to Egret Valley to watch egrets playing and peach blossoms blooming.

The village is a lot of fun, and you really don’t have to interact with the giraffes.
