Cao Canchao's greenhouse in Sizhuang Village, Naodian Town, Baofeng County, Henan Province adopts the "grasshopper+Morchella" rotation mode to realize two harvests in one shed.
39-year-old Cao Canchao returned to his hometown to start a business, systematically studied locust breeding technology and developed 20 breeding greenhouses, with an annual income of about140,000 yuan.
In the process of cultivating locusts, it was found that locusts had a high demand for temperature, and it was suitable for breeding from early April to165438+1mid-October, but the greenhouse was idle from late April to March.
Cao Canchao, who loves to ponder, thought of planting morels in the "empty window period" of locust breeding after consulting materials and technicians many times.
The rotation mode of "grasshopper+Morchella" not only turned the "winter leisure shed" into a "benefit shed", but also provided jobs for the villagers.
Cao Canchao said that at present, the benefits of planting Morchella are considerable. The cultivated locusts can produce 3-4 crops a year from April to165438+1October, and the yield of one mu of land can be 1000 kg. Last year, the income per mu was about/kloc-0.4 million yuan.
After the last grasshopper came out of the shed, Morchella was planted. The yield per mu is about 1000 Jin, and the average yield per mu is 40,000 yuan.
