Legend of "Shouwangfen" in Shouwangfen Town

1953, a group of 18 people were transferred from Shenyang to Jehol Province and assigned to the Shouwangfen copper mine under construction. The next day we went to report for duty, thinking that since we were working in Shouwangfen Copper Mine, we would go to see Shouwangfen. Inquiring all the way, we arrived at the location of the tomb of Shouwang in Danangou. The local villagers pointed to a big mound and said that it was the tomb of Shouwang. What we see is a large mound about 6-8 meters long and 4-5 meters high, which has neither the shape of a general circular tomb nor any signs. We asked fellow villagers: Is this the tomb of Shouwang? Who is Shouwang? Which dynasty? Some people say: I don't know. An elderly man came from behind. He said it was the tomb of Chang Yuchun, the younger brother of Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of Ming Dynasty. At that time, I was busy with production and construction, and no one studied it. Until 1986, the author was the main leader of Shouwangfen Copper Mine at that time. Local residents came to us and asked for a monument to the tomb of Shouwang. They said, why is it called Shouwangfen copper mine? It is because of the tomb of Shouwang that I got up. We hope that you will be responsible with us for the people, for future generations, and for erecting a monument to the tomb of Shouwang. I said: we can't erect a monument. First, we are an enterprise and have no right to establish a monument to determine the place name. Second, it is not clear who is the "Shouwang" in the tomb of Shouwang. An 80-year-old uncle Li spoke on behalf of everyone. The old man said: you are a foreigner and have never heard of legends. Everyone who lives in Da 'nan 'gou knows that it is Chang Yuchun's grave. He went on to say: I have heard from my grandfather since I was a child, and it was his teacher (Mr. Xue). It is said that Chang Yuchun was a general of the Ming Dynasty, a founding father and Zhu Yuanzhang's sworn brother. He was very brave and defeated the Yuan Dynasty with Mao. His contribution was particularly great, and he was named "the King of Longevity" by Mao. The emperor of the Yuan Dynasty fled to the Commissioner, and the Commissioner Yuan Army invaded again. Zhu Yuanzhang sent Chang Yuchun out to fight. He is the commander in chief now. The headquarters is in the tomb of Shouwang. More than ten miles northwest from here, there is a "Lieutenant's Ditch", which is his border post and his lieutenant is guarding it here. Chang Yuchun died of a sudden illness at the station. At that time, it was a war, and the weather was too hot, so the body could not be transported back to Beijing for on-site burial. This is the "Shouwangling". I said: Grandpa, your grandpa's teacher, that gentleman will not be more than 200 years now, and Ming Taizu has been more than 600 years now. How did the old man know that the "Tomb of the Shouwang" was Chang Yuchun's tomb? The villagers all say that it has been handed down from generation to generation. I did hear a very interesting legend. There are similarities between what the local villagers said and what was recorded in Ming history. "Returning to the division, Erliuhe died of sudden illness." Liuhe, the word "Sichuan" means river basin area. Liuhe River is about 5 kilometers away from Shouwang Mausoleum. It passes through a copper mining area and is called the Niu Lao River. The river flows directly into the Liuhe River, from southwest to northeast, and joins the Luanhe River. Liuhe is used for mine production and life. Liuhe is about 2 kilometers away from the mine headquarters, and the mine office building is 3 kilometers away from Shouwangfen, all of which belong to Liuhe. In addition, after checking the place names, there is only one tomb of Shouwang in China. The geographical map of China clearly indicates that the Tomb of the Shouwang is located in Chengde City, Hebei Province. Since the construction of 1953 in Shouwangfen Copper Mine, the telegrams used have been registered in 1 108. This "1 108" is the word "shou" in plain telegram, which is used all over the country. Therefore, the "Shouwangling" is unique.
