Calculation method of safety period

The premise of correctly calculating the safe period of pregnancy is to find out the time of women's menstrual period and ovulation period, and the ovulation day of women is generally around 14 days before the next menstrual cramp. Except the menstrual period and ovulation period, the rest of the time is a safe period. You don't have to use any birth control pills and birth control pills during safe sexual intercourse. The commonly used calculation methods of pregnancy safety period mainly include the following.

Calendar method

If the menstrual cycle is always accurate, ovulation may be on the first 14 day after menstrual cramps, 3-4 days before ovulation and 5-7 days after ovulation to avoid pregnancy. However, women's ovulation easily fluctuates due to changes in climate, diet, mood and environment, and even extra ovulation occurs. Therefore, contraception in the safe period is not absolutely safe.

Basal temperature measurement

Under normal circumstances, women's basal body temperature is lower before ovulation and higher after ovulation. This low body temperature curve before ovulation and high body temperature curve after ovulation is called biphasic body temperature curve, which indicates ovarian ovulation. The basic thermometer can be used to find out the safe period after ovulation.

Vaginal secretion observation method

Female vaginal discharge changes regularly with different periods of menstrual cycle. During ovulation, there is more and more mucus in the vagina, which becomes clear and can be extracted, up to 10 cm. The last day this mucus lasts is usually ovulation. You can't share the same room for the first 3-4 days and the last 5-7 days.
