What animals sleep in summer?

Summer sleeping animals are: sea cucumber, frog, squirrel, snail, South African hare and so on.

1. sea cucumber

After summer, because of the strong sunshine, the temperature of the upper seawater rises, which makes the small creatures on the seabed come to the surface for annual foraging and breeding activities. The sea cucumber left at the bottom of the sea had to starve, because all the small creatures floated up, but the sea cucumber couldn't, so it had to choose to spend the summer.

2. Frogs

In summer, frogs habitually dig a wet cave to sleep. Because the frog's skin needs moisture to keep it moist, and the temperature is high in summer, and the moisture is easy to evaporate, so in order to keep the skin moist, we have to choose summer sleep.

3. Squirrel

Whenever the summer comes, chipmunks and striped squirrels in some areas become no longer lively, but curl up and lie in their own "nests" made of leaves, sleeping soundly. At this time, their bodies are cold as if they were dead. After a while, the summer heat will subside and the weather will turn cold, and these little guys will start jumping again.

4.snails

Snails are lazy. They are dormant animals in winter and summer. Whenever hot and dry summer comes, they will hide in the shell on their backs to sleep for the summer, and whenever they sleep in summer, snails will secrete a special kind of mucus, which can seal the shell mouth and resist the heat outside.

5. South African hare

This kind of hare is a plump group, which is rich in fat and a gift from heaven, but it is too hot in summer, so the hare sleeps in a hole in summer, but it is not hot.
