Will the cold weather cause SVS to be in the car?

Too cold weather will cause SVS to be in the car. SVS indicator lamp is an engine fault indicator lamp, which is equivalent to the "engine shape" indicator lamp. When the vehicle turns on the ignition key, this light will light up and will not go out until the vehicle is started. When the engine ECU detects a fault, the SVS light will light up. If the light is on while the vehicle is driving, it means that the engine of the vehicle is out of order. SVS indicator lamp is a fault lamp when ECU computer or TCU computer of EFI vehicle detects that there is something wrong with engine or automatic transmission.

Matters needing attention

As long as the EFI vehicle has SVS fault indicator, the manual gear is the engine fault indicator, and the automatic gear is the engine and automatic transmission fault indicator. It is recommended to go to the repair shop for inspection as soon as possible.

You can try to start the engine when the SVS light is on. If it can't be started, it may be that the fuel pump is abnormal and can't supply oil to the engine normally. If it can still be started, it may be a problem with other sensors. In this case, the car can still run, but the failure may affect the normal use of the car, such as increased fuel consumption, body shake and so on.
