Dry Syria

Syria has a Mediterranean climate, with rainy winters and dry summers. Spring and autumn are two short transitional seasons.

There is much rain in coastal areas in winter, rainy and snowy in mountainous areas in winter, scarce rain in desert areas and dry and hot in summer.

Syria has a mild climate, with an average temperature of 32℃ in summer, 10℃ in winter and 22℃ in spring and autumn.

The average temperature in Damascus is about17 C, but it is higher in July and August!

Syria is affected by the subtropical high belt, with relatively low latitude, large direct angle of the sun and sultry and dry climate.
