What are the climate types?

(1) Tropical rain forest climate (also called equatorial rain forest climate). Located on both sides of the equator on all continents, it extends about 5 ~ 10 from south to north.

(2) Tropical (also known as tropical monsoon rains) climate. This climate is mainly distributed on both sides of the equatorial rainy climate belt, namely Central America, South America and Africa, which is about 5 ~ 15 north latitude (some extend to 25).

(3) Tropical grassland climate. Unlike the tropical monsoon climate, there is less precipitation.

(7) Subtropical dry summer climate (also called Mediterranean climate). Located on the west coast of the continent at subtropical latitude, about 30 ~ 40 degrees north latitude.

(8) temperate monsoon climate. Appears on the east coast of Eurasia near 35 ~ 55 north latitude.

(9) Subtropical monsoon climate. Appears on the east coast of subtropical continent at 25 ~ 35 north latitude.

(5) temperate continental climate. Mainly distributed in the mainland of 35 ~ 50 north latitude.

(10) Coniferous forest climate in sub-frigid zone). This climate occurs in the central and eastern parts of the continent between 50 and 65 north latitude.

(1 1) polar climate (also known as ice sheet tundra climate). Mainly distributed in the polar regions. The difference between ice sheet climate and tundra is that the highest temperature in summer in ice sheet climate area is below 0, while the temperature in tundra climate area is above 0.
