Car air conditioners are indispensable in the electrical equipment in the car, but many novice car owners do not know how to use car air conditioners, or even the air conditioner switch.

Illustration of automatic car air-conditioning switch Take the diagram as an example. Generally, automatic car air-conditioning will include AUTO switch, fan air volume, air flow selection, air conditioning temperature, internal/external circulation and other switches. Some buttons have English labels, and we focus on explaining their functions.

AUTO switch Press the AUTO switch and the indicator light lights up, indicating that the car air conditioner starts to operate automatically, including temperature, air volume, air flow mode, internal/external circulation, etc. If you operate the mode selector (air outlet selection), fan air volume, or windshield defrost during the automatic operation of the air conditioner, the air conditioner will exit the automatic mode.

OFF switch Pressing the OFF switch turns off the car air conditioner.

A/C switch Press the A/C switch and the car air conditioner and refrigeration will start working. When the AUTO switch is on and the car air conditioner is in automatic mode, pressing the A/C switch will turn off the refrigeration device. If the vehicle is equipped with the A/CECO function, each time the A/C switch is pressed, the air conditioner will change between A/C→A/CECO→off.

(A/CECO is an economical air-conditioning control system) DUAL switch is an air-conditioning zone control switch. When the indicator light is pressed to light up, the driver and front passenger can individually control the required temperature; press again When the indicator light goes out, the driver and front passenger temperatures are simultaneously controlled to the desired temperature.

To put it simply, the fan control switch controls the air volume of the air conditioner. Generally, there are several levels of air volume. Once selected, it will be displayed on the panel.

The mode selector switch is as shown in the picture. Which air outlet mode you need, just click the switch to switch to the desired mode.

The air intake selector switch selects a reasonable internal/external air circulation position according to the driving environment.

When driving in tunnels, heavy traffic areas or when rapid cooling is required, choose internal circulation. Be careful not to use the inner circulation in cold or rainy weather, otherwise the windows will fog up and your view will be blocked.

When allowing outside air to enter the cabin, select external circulation for ventilation.

After pressing the switch for windshield defrost and rear window defogger, the external air circulation will be automatically selected, and the air outlet will automatically be selected to convection the front windshield and side windows. The air is dehumidified directly. Note that using a warmer temperature can quickly increase the air temperature and defrost effect.

The above are the steps on how to use the air conditioner in the car. We used automatic air conditioning as an example for illustration, and the switch of manual air conditioning basically includes the above functions, except for the AUTO automatic air conditioning switch.
