Have tea at Daci Temple.
This ancient temple with a long history and profound cultural accumulation has become a famous temple in past dynasties. Founded in Wei and Jin Dynasties, it flourished in Tang and Song Dynasties. Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty personally came here, and Xuanzang, 20, was ordained here for four or five years. It is said that this vast area of Taikooli once belonged to Daci Temple, but it was later destroyed by fire. It was rebuilt during Tongzhi and Shunzhi years in the Qing Dynasty, making it look like it now, and it is known as the "first jungle in Sinian".
I have seen temples all over the world, but the solemnity and exquisiteness of this temple is enough to shock my heart and make my heart exclaim from time to time. Everywhere is unusual: colorful Buddha statues, gilded pillars, doors and windows, elegant and gorgeous calligraphy and painting, heavy and exquisite buildings, tall ancient trees and Bashu culture are all here.
During this period, my heart suddenly felt peaceful and quiet. The beauty of the ancient temple lies in its quietness, elegance and profundity, which pulls you out of the noise and into an ethereal and clear world. Here, you suddenly enter such a time-space transition.
However, in Zen Tea Hall, we obviously feel another kind of acceptance and tolerance of Daci Temple: the wing and patio here are full of tables for tea drinkers, and people chat and drink tea while eating melon seeds, which is in sharp contrast with the clean land next to them.
I know that people in Chengdu love to drink tea, and parks, roadsides and restaurants can be seen everywhere, starting early in the morning. But I'm still a little surprised and curious that so many people come to the temple for tea. Maybe I'm tired of walking outside. Come in and have a rest. Maybe I'm here for a cup of tea, or I'm here for a cup of tea ... Such a comfortable and quiet tea place is rare in other cities, which is why Chengdu has become a special city! Chengdu people do choose places and drink tea!
My daughter and I were also infected by this laid-back atmosphere, so we went in and found a desk and chair to sit down.
The master in light gray plain clothes brought us tea sets, tea leaves and hot water bottles. A bag of green tea and a bag of honey, tea leaves are poured into a bowl filled with white flowers and slowly bloom at a suitable water temperature. I took a sip of tea, and the smell of tea lingered on my nose. The tea was green and bright, and the feeling of joy suddenly came. The daughter solemnly picked it up with one pair of hands, but took three sips and slowly put it down. We can't help smiling at each other.
This is a quadrangle with a lot of space. A patio can take more than 20 tables for drinking tea, and the east and west wings are also filled with tables and chairs. The south side of the patio is the most interesting, with two independent spaces. Under the illumination of orange light, I saw a plaque on a wall with two golden characters "Bodhi" written on it. Bodhi dharma water was gurgled out of the gourd by an old man with long hair and beard, holding a golden gourd in his hands and flowing into a vat. The wall is painted with lotus flowers, the word "longevity" and auspicious clouds, which are very rich and auspicious. The next room is the Tiger Kitchen, where the tea we drink is cooked. On the tiger stove made of blue bricks, there are more than a dozen copper teapots, and the handles are uniformly wrapped in red cloth. The teapot has been around for some years, and the pot body is covered with gray water stains. A tea girl with a bun and an orange coat is busy flushing water on the stove, clean and tidy. After a while, several monks in yellow robes came to the Bodhi protector and said something, ordered something with their fingers, and walked around the patio again. All this makes people feel that drinking tea in the meantime is interesting and interesting.
Look at the tea drinkers around us, or parents, daughters, son-in-law, or two or three middle-aged men, or one or two young fashionable women, or single men. They chat, eat snacks, or meditate without saying a word, or look at mobile phones and the sky. The sky in Chengdu rarely sees sunshine, sometimes cloudy, sometimes rainy, wet and humid, but it has the charm of Jiangnan water town. There is no better pastime than drinking tea and chatting in this weather. Chengdu people know its taste very well. They pursue the comfort and tranquility of a land of abundance.
Tall, finely carved rows of windows were half open, the wind blew in gently, and two monks were talking with wooden fences. You can see flickering candlelight on the altar not far away, lingering smoke, lilac hydrangea and dancing pictures on the wall. From time to time, several tourists stroll by the window, some of them are blond. Time flows so softly that there is no trace. Unconsciously, I sat in the west wing for two hours, and the taste of tea gradually faded after one cup of tea. My daughter has no intention of leaving yet. This is the first time she has sat down to drink tea for such a long time.
Suddenly there was a commotion in the yard, and the guests rushed into the back room with tea bowls. It turned out to be raining! Several teachers in the temple quickly put the tables and chairs together and covered them with tarpaulins.
People continue to drink tea and chat in the room.
There is rain in the courtyard, there is a ticking sound under the eaves, and a monk takes off his robe upstairs opposite. It turns out that this is also their resting place. Rain moistened this house with ancient flavor, and gave birth to poems and paintings for no reason.
Meditation in the rain, drinking tea in the rain, body and mind have been completely relaxed. Just sit there and don't want the rain to stop right away.
Originally a passer-by, I remembered this place infinitely.
Remember, don't forget.
