Precautions for Tiananmen to attend the flag-raising ceremony:

1. The time of raising (lowering) the national flag every day is based on the sunrise and sunset time in Beijing provided by Beijing Observatory. Visitors can refer to the newspaper to predict the specific time of the next day.

Tiananmen Square is closed at night and generally opens 40 minutes earlier than the flag-raising time in the morning. Visitors can wait near the square one hour before the flag is raised.

3. Before the flag-raising ceremony, Tiananmen police will arrange police forces to maintain order at the entrance and exit in advance, and draw a diversion line outside the west gate of the National Museum and the east gate of the Great Hall of the People, so that people waiting to watch the flag-raising can queue up.
