The ignition switch usually has four gears:

Lock the steering wheel in first gear but listen to the radio;

The second gear (OFF gear) makes the engine turn off and the key can be removed at the same time;

The third gear (ON gear) is connected to the automobile power supply. At this time, the general electrical equipment has electricity, which can be made to work through their control switches;

Start the fourth gear (STA gear). When STA gear is opened, the starter converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to drive the engine to rotate, thus starting the engine.

When the key is inserted into the keyhole and rotated clockwise, the first gear is the third gear (ON gear) mentioned above. At this time, the instrument light on the dashboard will light up. At this time, turn one gear clockwise, that is, the fourth gear (STA gear) starts the gear. At this time, you will hear the engine turning. When you hear the engine running, release your hand and let the ignition switch automatically return to the third gear (on gear). Then the engine can be started.
