Outdoor Tour in West Sichuan —— Passing through Balang Mountain
After visiting the ancient town, after lunch, we started from Dujiangyan, passed Yingxiu, crossed Balang Mountain, and then stayed in Siguniang Mountain Town, Xiaojin County, Aba Prefecture.
The first time I passed Yingxiu, it was a memorable place in the earthquake. I have only seen Yingxiu on TV before, most of them are screenshots, and there is no real feeling.
This time it's just passing by, not Yingxiu Town in crew cut. I only remember that the tour bus has been driving along a narrow valley. In some places, the road is still a rock wall, and both sides are high mountains that can't see the top. Except for a small and intermittent deep ditch (with and without water), there is almost no flat ground for parking, let alone a service area. If there is an earthquake or a rolling stone collapses after the rain, there is basically no way out unless it is fatal, because you have nowhere to hide! Our garage has been open for an hour or two, and no one is there. I remember passing by Maoxian County before and found that there were people living on the top of the mountain, and there were none here. Maybe I can't find a decent apartment at the top of the mountain. Fortunately, the mountains are now covered with lush plants, and bare rocks and ferocious mountain scenery are rare, which makes people feel the vitality of nature, thus reducing psychological fear.
Soon, our car began to climb mountains, almost always winding mountain roads. The higher the altitude, the more beautiful the mountain scenery, because your vision is gradually broadened, and what you see in your eyes is endless mountains and canyons. The word "magnificent" comes to my mind again. Many mountain tops are foggy and beautiful!
We walked on and finally came to a mountainside. We found many parking spaces on the roadside. When we looked up, there were small yellow flowers all over the mountain. The master said that Balang Mountain has arrived. Let's find a place to park. Let's go to see wild flowers and take pictures.
As soon as we got off the bus, everyone went straight to the nearest hillside, where flowers were everywhere, and wherever we looked, our vision was extremely far away. Unfortunately, the mountain fog is very thick. No matter how close we look, we can't see this mountain at all, and we can't see the other side of the mountain, let alone the distant mountains on other mountains. Who cares? Let's just look at the flowers in the fog.
There are small yellow flowers with wide leaves (like melon leaves) everywhere, one after another, one after another, one after another, either sparse or dense, all very free and easy, but they are comfortable, aimless and disorganized, which is really enviable! We are excited to get the best shooting spot, but it is totally unnecessary. Almost everywhere, but many people, few people, clean and pure background. So we posed and took pictures from various angles and shapes, some were taking pictures of people, some were taking pictures of scenery, some were taking pictures of a bunch of flowers ... We stood, sat, squatted and lay down, some took pictures of each other, some took pictures together ... some climbed higher and farther, in order to get better visual effects!
Here, everyone seems to have completely forgotten themselves and only see flowers. This is the first time I have seen such a large area of alpine wildflowers. When we returned the next day, the weather was fine and the visibility was high, only to find that the flower sea that was amazing on the first day was just a hillside, and the driveway crossed the hillside, and all the places under the mountain were full of these small yellow flowers. From a distance, most of them stick to the ground, leaving only yellow flowers everywhere, full of yellow flowers, almost no trees and little grass. It seems that this place is very suitable for planting this kind of flowers, and it has completely become their world.
However, on the opposite side of the valley, there are dark green primitive fir trees all over the mountains. From a distance, the mountain scenery is really varied and beautiful!
And if you look carefully in the sea of flowers, you will find that the alpine wildflowers here are not all yellow, but also purple, pink and white, which are really colorful. No wonder "Balang Mountain" is also called "Colorful Mountain", but it is mainly yellow!
Originally, we wanted to go to a higher and farther place to shoot, but the companions in the car saw it and said quickly, don't run, because it is high in altitude here, and there will be a high reaction when running. Yes, I remember the tour guide said that the altitude here seems to be 3800 meters. I came back to check: Balang Mountain, the main peak is 5040 meters above sea level, the pass is 4523 meters above sea level, and the place above 4000 meters above sea level belongs to perennial winter weathered mountain. Although we are near Panshan Highway, it should be no less than 3800 meters. But it is really not as obvious as Tibet, which may be related to the abundant green plants and adequate oxygen supply.
When the flowers are almost seen, we turn the gate to an observation deck not far away, where we can stop and have a rest. It's really amazing. There are blue sky and white clouds on this side of the mountain, and the fog has disappeared. The snow-capped mountains and forests in the distance were dazzling, and everyone was so excited that they began to shoot little white cloud on the top of the mountain with windows. They purified our hearts with spotless beauty!
Get off the bus and go straight to the observation deck, where many people have already gathered, with blue sky and white clouds overhead, and watch the scenery of Qingshan at close range, but the most eye-catching thing is a large dazzling snowy mountain top in the distance ahead, shining in the sun, which makes people extremely surprised! This is the first time we have seen the snow-capped mountains today. It should be a snow peak in Siguniang Mountain. It suddenly met unexpectedly with an extraordinary gesture. Of course, we can only be shocked. Its beauty is beyond description in any language. We can only clap and clap tacky there until our hands are sore!
It is true that the infinite scenery is on the dangerous peak. All the dangers we face today are worth it!
I live directly in Siguniang Mountain Town, Xiaojin County at night. It seems to be in a low-lying mountainous area surrounded by mountains. This town is like a baby lying in a green cradle, sleeping comfortably.
In fact, perhaps only in summer can it be called comfortable here. There is a great temperature difference here. It's sunny and hot outside, so we have to wear short-sleeved T-shirts. The indoor air is chilly, so we have to turn on the electric mattress before we dare to sleep. We go to the bathroom at night, and the slippers are cold and hard. I have to put on my socks quickly, or I can't stand it for a while.
In Siguniang Mountain Town, yak meat is authentic and affordable. Yak mushroom soup pot is delicious, mutton skewers are delicious, milk bumps are fragrant, crisp and sweet, and there are many kinds of vegetables. I don't think it's made locally. After all, land resources are too limited!
