It is a well-preserved ancient town in Panyu and a representative of Guangfu local culture.

Although antique bricks are used in the main entrance building and ground of the ancient town, they are too new and lack a sense of history.

There are not many tourists because of the weather. The ancient town is deep and classic. Occasionally, there are crews filming here.

Walking out of the ancient town seems to be a feeling of people returning from the old times to the modern times.

Panyu City Bus: Take bus No.6, No.7, 12, No.67 (via Shiqiao subway station) and No.68 at Panyu Shiqiao, get off at the Cultural and Sports Center (or Liugengtang Station) and walk to Shawan Ancient Town.

1, Guangzhou direction (1 hour): Guangzhou South Ring Expressway-Dongxin Expressway (Shawan exit)-Liang Shi Road (6 kilometers to Shiqiao)-West Ring Road (turn left at the third red light)-West along Shawan-West entrance of Shawan ancient town.
