Mention my hometown-Jinyuan, an ancient city with a long cultural history and the ancient Fenhe River, which gave birth to splendid Jinyang culture. King Wuling of Zhao's "The Riding and Shooting of Khufu" initiated Jinyang culture to absorb foreign cultures, Emperor Wen of Han initiated the first prosperous period of feudal society in China-"The Rule of Cultural Scenery", and sons of Taiyuan, Li Shimin, Wu Zetian, famous minister Di, poets Bai Juyi, Wang Changling, Wang Zhihuan and Luo Guanzhong initiated the rule of Zhenguan, all of which are the pride of Jinyang's history and culture. Rich history has created splendid Jinyang culture and left a very rich historical heritage. There are more than 0/00 cultural relics/kloc-,including five national-level protected cultural relics such as Jinci, Longshan Grottoes, Jinyang Ancient Site and Ming Xiu Temple, as well as the giant open-air cliff carved Buddha statue-Mengshan Giant Buddha with exact age and the earliest excavation in the world. Jinyuan District also has the best forest company in Taiyuan and Jinyang Lake, the largest artificial lake in North China.

A few years ago, people in my hometown were backward in environmental awareness and only thought about economic benefits. They have opened many small coal mines, privately dug and exploited them indiscriminately, which has seriously polluted the environment. There are black coal faces everywhere, and when the wind blows, the fog is even worse. The people in my hometown are miserable, and what is more serious is that it affects the development of Jinci tourism, and fewer and fewer people come to Jinyuan for tourism.

In the past two years, with the great attention of the municipal government, Jinyuan District has undergone earth-shaking changes and is full of vitality everywhere. Looking around, the whole Jinyuan is like a beautiful picture: patches of fertile fields are patchwork, the forest coverage rate is over 60%, large tracts of peaches, plums, apples, walnuts and grapes are fragrant, clear streams are flowing, trees are shaded by the roadside, and flowers are in full bloom.
