Extended data:

The Lena River is one of the largest rivers in the world and the longest river in the Soviet Union. Located in eastern Siberia. It originates from the western slope of the Baikal Mountains, meanders northward along the eastern edge of the central Siberian Plateau, and flows into the Laptev Sea in the Arctic Ocean. It is 4400 kilometers long. The basin covers an area of 2.49 million square kilometers. The Heyuan section is called "the Great Lena River".

From Heyuan to the entrance of Weijim River, it is upstream, flowing through mountains and plateaus, with deep valleys and steep banks, many rapids and rocky beaches, which have obvious characteristics of mountains and rivers. The right bank receives the Kilanga River.

From the mouth of the Vidim River to the confluence of the Ardan River, it becomes a rich river, especially after it is injected into the Olyorkma River, the riverbed is widened to 2 kilometers, the valley is 30 kilometers wide, and there are many lakes and bends on it. Because it flows through the Lena-Aldan Plateau, there are steep cliffs on the riverbed in some sections. Below the mouth of Aldan River is the lower reaches, which gradually has the characteristics of plain type.
