Changchun Bus Factory Changke News
On May 14th, the headline of "Xinwen Lianbo" was titled "CNR Changke: From the pursuer of high-speed trains to the world's speed leader", which expressed the view that China CNR Changke Co., Ltd. is about to gallop into the world. The CRH380 high-speed EMU on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway received strong coverage, and the entire news lasted more than 3 minutes. With the theme of independent innovation, the report focused on the unremitting exploration and outstanding achievements of Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. in independent innovation of high-speed EMUs, and demonstrated the elegance of my country's rail passenger equipment manufacturing enterprises leading the world's speed.
Full text of the report
From the introduction of technology to produce high-speed EMUs with a speed of 250 kilometers per hour, to the development of high-speed EMUs with a speed of 380 kilometers per hour, in the field of high-speed EMUs that represent the most advanced technology of rail transportation, It took China CNR Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd. seven years to complete its magnificent transformation from a pursuer to a leader.
Reporter: What is undergoing final debugging is the CRH380 high-speed EMU that will be unveiled on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway next month. Its design speed has reached 380 kilometers per hour, which is currently the fastest commercial operation speed in the world. Fast EMU. Although it is fast, when you sit in it, its noise is only equivalent to sitting in a car traveling at low speed.
Behind the fast speed and low noise are the newly developed high-speed trains’ breakthroughs in more than ten key technologies such as streamlined fronts and traction power systems. The front of the car alone has increased from 7.45 meters in the past to 9.75 meters now. It is this increase of 2.3 meters that enables the world speed of 380 kilometers per hour.
Niu Detian, chief engineer of China CNR Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd.: The current resistance of this new head type is 12% lower than that of the prototype, and its various indicators are also better than the world's same industry level. .
Don’t underestimate the impact of this 2.3 meter height on the safety of the train. If the length of a high-speed train is increased by even 10 centimeters, it will cause a series of safety problems such as increased difficulty in cornering, while shortening will increase running resistance.
Niu Detian, chief engineer of China CNR Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd.: We made 16 (head) models, laid out more than 300 points on this (head), and conducted 200 Multiple (wind tunnel) tests were conducted to conduct aerodynamic pressure and drag experiments.
After more than a year of repeated trials, the development of a new low-resistance streamlined front has been completed. Behind this increase of 2.3 meters, all complex parts inside the front have to be redesigned and the manufacturing process upgraded. After four years of research and development, CNR Changke completely used its own experimental data to design the CRH380 high-speed EMU with fast speed, low noise and low energy consumption, achieving China's own innovation.
7 years ago, when CNR Changke just started cooperating with foreign companies to develop high-speed EMUs, not to mention major operations such as innovative design of the front end, even small adjustments to some parts were difficult. Unable to complete.
Niu Detian, chief engineer of CNR Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd.: In the early days of technology introduction, our technicians did not dare to do anything because we did not master the core technology.
Dong Xiaofeng, Chairman of China CNR Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd.: When introducing foreign technology, we can say that it was to meet the needs of domestic transportation equipment development. However, from the perspective of the long-term development of the enterprise, if you Without core technology, your company will have no vitality.
On the basis of introduction, we digested, absorbed and re-innovated. After continuous exploration, in the workshop of CNR Changchun, the high-speed EMUs gradually had Chinese "brain" and Chinese "core". In the past seven years, CNR Changchun has successively mastered nine key technologies of high-speed EMUs, forming the ability to continue independent research and development and manufacturing of high-speed EMUs, realizing the leap from Made in China to Created in China. On April 23, the first batch of 8 Hong Kong subway vehicles developed by our company successfully shipped from Yingkou Port, Liaoning Province, and are expected to arrive in Hong Kong before April 28.
This project is my country’s first subway project developed for rail operations in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is also an important symbol of the first time that a domestic enterprise has successfully entered the world’s high-end urban rail vehicle market.
Yingkou Port is located at the junction of the Bohai Rim Economic Circle and the Northeast Economic Zone. It is the closest outlet to the sea from the three northeastern provinces and the hinterland of the Eastern Four Leagues of Inner Mongolia. It is also one of the 20 major ports in all coastal areas of my country. In January 2011, the company selected Sinotrans Co., Ltd. as its strategic partner through public bidding to undertake the maritime transportation tasks of the Hong Kong Metro.
After a pattering spring rain, the sky above Yingkou Port was exceptionally clear. Against the blue sky and white clouds, the eight MTR trains parked on the pier looked particularly dazzling.
The departure of the first batch of MTR trains has received great attention from company leaders and relevant departments. At 9 o'clock in the morning, all preparations before the departure of the train began in an orderly manner. The company's project department, overseas business department, and production and material control department sent dedicated personnel to Yingkou Port to coordinate and supervise the departure of the train on site.
At 1:30 pm, after nearly 5 hours of preparations, the first subway car was slowly lifted into the air under the lifting of a heavy-duty crane. The hoisting work continued until 7:30 pm. With the last car successfully dropped into the warehouse, the hoisting work of the first Hong Kong MTR train was successfully completed.
At 2 pm on April 24, the Singapore-registered freighter "Far East Happy" left Yingkou Port, fully loaded with the expectations and trust of its long-term guests, and headed for its destination, Xiaohewan Port, Hong Kong.
With the smooth delivery of the first train, the second train will arrive at Yingkou Port in early May and depart for Hong Kong. After the vehicle arrives in Hong Kong, it will undergo a week-long vehicle coupling, vehicle recovery test, and vehicle function confirmation. At the end of October, the joint debugging test of vehicles and ground signals will be completed; at the beginning of November, the first train will be officially put into operation on the MTR New Island Line for passenger operations.
CNR Changke currently accounts for 70% of the metro urban rail transit market, ranking first in the country. It exported the Hong Kong subway for the first time, becoming the only rail transit equipment manufacturer in China that manufactures subways for developed countries (regions). Manufacturer. "Magnetic levitation" is being tested in Shanghai
Reporter: What other new trends does Changke have in product research and development recently?
Dong Xiaofeng: We have developed an EMU with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour and will put it into operation on the "Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Rail" next year. This line spans about 120 kilometers, with several stations in between. , the whole running time only takes more than 20 minutes.
Reporter: Is 350 kilometers the highest speed we have developed?
Dong Xiaofeng: In fact, Changke has been developing maglev trains since 2003. This project has received state support and was included in the "863 Project". It is faster, with a design speed of 550 kilometers per hour.
Reporter: How is the research progress on maglev trains?
Dong Xiaofeng: Over the past few years, nearly 100 million yuan has been invested in research and development in this area, and a car head of about 27 meters long has been produced. It represents the most cutting-edge technology in this area in China. Currently, this "maglev" is undergoing a "levitation test" at a university in Shanghai to test the operation of facilities in a suspended state, and the results are satisfactory. Since the test section is only one kilometer long, there is currently no way to test its true speed. When the actual operating speed will be tested depends on the specific arrangements of the relevant national authorities.
Yesterday, Dong Xiaofeng, chairman of Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd., accepted an exclusive interview with this reporter. According to him, Changke has developed a maglev train with a design speed of 550 kilometers per hour and is currently undergoing testing at a university in Shanghai.
EMU
Foreign companies are rushing to cooperate with us
Reporter: The outside world has been very interested in the EMU that will be put into use on April 18. What was the most memorable thing for you during its development?
Dong Xiaofeng: The technology of the EMU was imported from abroad, and many difficulties were encountered during the cooperation process. Speaking of the most unforgettable thing, when we were choosing partners, some foreign companies that mastered this technology were rushing to cooperate with us. Afterwards, I analyzed that they were mainly optimistic about China's economic development speed, the development prospects of high-speed trains, and the strength of Changchun Express. |
Reporter: Since the technology was imported, during the cooperation process, besides the EMU, did we gain anything else?
Dong Xiaofeng: The purpose of foreign companies is to make money, and our purpose is to introduce and learn. During the cooperation, foreign parties also wanted to restrict us in certain technical aspects, but after contact between the two parties, we also got what we wanted.
Reporter: Can I understand that through cooperation, we have mastered the relevant R&D technology of EMU?
Dong Xiaofeng: I agree with your understanding.
People are very sensitive to EMU delays
Reporter: The EMU has also encountered some troubles after it was put into use. For example, train delays have become news. How do you evaluate this matter?
Dong Xiaofeng: In the past, China's railway transportation was in a low-speed era. If slow trains had problems later, no one would care. Now that we are gradually entering the high-speed era, everyone is more sensitive to the operating speed. It is normal to pay attention to anything once something happens.
Reporter: What problems do you think caused the delay of the EMU?
Dong Xiaofeng: Delay is not only a problem in the north, but also in the south. I analyzed that there are five main reasons. The first is that the debugging cycle of the EMU itself is short, and some have not been debugged in place, which will take some time; the second is that individual operators have not yet figured out the driving method, and malfunctions occur due to improper operation; The third is maintenance and upkeep. High-speed technology is a subject for Chinese enterprises, and there is also an adaptation problem for railway operating units. The fourth is the operating environment. Foreign operating lines do not have ballast and are all cement surfaces. When the train is fast, there will be no flying stones. There is no chance of damaging the car; fifth is the problem of unstable network voltage. The operation of the EMU requires the network voltage of the power grid to be stable at about 22,000 volts. Once the network voltage exceeds a certain range, the EMU will activate the self-protection device and enter low speed. Running status.
