Climatic characteristics of Olgas.

According to the legend of local indigenous tribes, Olgas was formed in the prehistoric "golden age". The gods came to earth and shaped this landscape. They also said that every time a snake blows into the wind valley, a breeze will form. To punish the wicked, the snake blew a hurricane.

Olgas is located in Uluru-Katachuda National Park in central Australia. There are a series of strange geological and geomorphological features here. More than 30 dome-shaped peaks stand irregularly and abruptly, like red rock islands rising from the hazy sea. They are called "island mountains". Ayers Rock lies on the desert plain 32km east of Olgas, lying quietly. It is 348 meters high and 9 kilometers at the bottom, covering an area of about 1.200 hectares. It is the largest monolithic rock in the world. The color of Ayers Rock changes with the weather all day, and it appears brown, yellow or purple with the change of time and clouds.
