What happened to the siege of Deng Baizhi in Han Dynasty?

The siege of Deng Bai was an event in 200 BC (the seventh year of Emperor Gaozu) when Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang was besieged by Xiongnu in Deng Bai (now Mapu Mountain in the northeast of Datong City, Shanxi Province).

In September of the sixth year of Emperor Han Gaodi (20 1 BC), the Xiongnu led an attack on Taiyuan, and surrounded Han Wangxin in Mayi (now northwest of Shuoxian County, Shanxi Province). Hanwang surrendered to Xiongnu and joined forces with Xiongnu to attack Han. At the beginning of the seventh year of high school (200 years ago), Liu Bang personally led more than 300,000 troops to attack Han Wangxin, and defeated his army in Tonglu (now south of Qinxian County, Shanxi Province) and his allied forces with Xiongnu in Jinyang (now south of Jinyuan Town, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province).

Hearing that the Xiongnu army had moved to Daigu (now northwest of Fan Shi, Shaanxi Province), Liu Bang wanted to attack it, so he sent people to spy on the Xiongnu army. Modu chanyu keeps a low profile and deliberately shows weakness. Han ordered more than a dozen people to retreat, saying that the Huns could strike. Liu Bang sent Liu Jing to scout. Before he came back, Liu Bang learned that the Han army had gone north for 320,000. After Liu Jing (Lou Jing) came back, he pointed out that the Huns were deceptive and could not be easily invaded. Liu Bang refused to listen and led the vanguard troops to Pingcheng (now east of Datong, Shanxi), but the infantry did not arrive. Modu chanyu surrounded liu bang in Deng Bai (now northeast of datong city) with 400,000 fine riders. On the 7 th, the internal and external contacts of the Han army were interrupted and could not be rescued.

Liu bang adopted Chen's plan and paid tribute to the Huns. Under the persuasion of E Shi, the Han army had to break through and meet the main force in the city of peace. When the Huns led troops to the north, Han also stopped and sent them to engage with the Huns.
