So in order to celebrate their longevity and the stable development of Jiangshan, such a grand banquet was held.

Before the banquet began, Kangxi ordered all people over 65, whether officials or citizens, to attend the banquet held in Changchun Garden. The schedule of this feast is from the first day of March to the end of March in the lunar calendar. On March 25th, a grand banquet hosted thousands of ordinary officials and people. At the banquet, 10 descendants of the imperial clan over the age of 20 were asked to toast their elders and distribute food. In fact, Kangxi held two banquets with more than 7,000 participants, which really became a much-told story at that time.

For the first time, Kangxi wanted to hold a thousand wedding banquets on his 70th birthday, but this time the thousand wedding banquets were not bought by the people and were later reviled. Why? It turned out that at the beginning of the event, Kangxi relaxed the number requirement and did not give the old people a seat, so Kangxi arranged the old people in the aisle. At that time, it was a cold winter, and young people couldn't stand it, not to mention the old people couldn't stand it.
