Ningbo Meteorological Observatory (Ningbo Marine Meteorological Observatory)

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

(7) Responsible for the collection, arrangement, archiving, development and utilization of meteorological data and the provision of data services.

(8) Responsible for the production, provision and release of agricultural meteorological forecasts, geological disaster forecasts, fire hazard meteorological level forecasts, air quality forecasts and other forecasts.

(9) Responsible for the expansion of related meteorological business service areas.

(10) Undertake emergency meteorological support services for emergencies such as maritime search and rescue, nuclear emergency, chemical pollution, etc.; undertake early warning and forecasting of severe (extraordinary) meteorological disasters and emergency response to severe (extraordinary) natural disasters Meteorological support for rescue.

(11) Responsible for satellite remote sensing business and application development tasks.

(2) Ningbo Meteorological Information Center

Main responsibilities and tasks

(1) Responsible for the 96121 weather audio system (including fixed, mobile, PHS, etc. ) and weather SMS systems (including China Mobile, China Unicom, etc.), in addition to the development, production, release, service and business expansion of information products other than those produced and released by commercial stations.

(2) Responsible for the packaging, release and service of weather forecast products for professional meteorological users (including meteorological service end users) in key and major projects, port construction, ocean transportation, coastal and offshore operations, etc.

(3) Responsible for the production and release of professional weather forecast products such as TV weather program weather forecasts, various living indexes, direct flights to cities, tourism weather, etc.

(4) Responsible for the expansion of meteorological science and technology service fields and the research and development and service of related business services.

(5) Responsible for the editing, production and revision of TV meteorological programs, columns and special topics; responsible for the maintenance and repair of TV meteorological program production equipment to ensure that meteorological TV programs are broadcast on time.

(6) Responsible for the contracting and development of TV weather program advertising business and the development of weather columns in newspapers and other media.

(7) Responsible for the development and research of new technologies for TV meteorological services.

(3) Ningbo Meteorological Monitoring Network Center

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

(1) Responsible for technical guidance on the construction and operation of the city’s meteorological information network system.

(2) Responsible for the real-time operation, maintenance and network security management of bureau-level computers and communication networks.

(3) Responsible for the reception, processing, transmission, distribution, storage, and archiving of various meteorological data to ensure the continuity and completeness of various meteorological data.

(4) Responsible for the installation, real-time operation monitoring, maintenance, repair and guarantee of atmospheric detection equipment (including automatic stations, satellites, radars, wind profilers, lightning locators, etc.) uniformly deployed by the Municipal Bureau.

(5) Responsible for the procurement, storage, distribution and inspection of ground observation instruments for the city’s meteorological system.

(6) Responsible for technical services for meteorological remote terminal users and professional users of Internet meteorological websites.

(7) Undertake meteorological modernization and software development tasks assigned by the Municipal Bureau.

(8) Responsible for the maintenance of the 96121 weather audio system and meteorological SMS system platform, and provide relevant technical support according to the needs of the meteorological information center to ensure the normal operation of the system platform.

(9) Responsible for the construction, management and maintenance of the bureau’s office automation and e-government systems.

(10) Responsible for the web development, integration and maintenance of meteorological business network, bureau office network, municipal government meteorological network, Internet meteorological network and other websites.

(11) Responsible for the operation, development and technical services of the Municipal Rural Economic Comprehensive Information Network and the training of rural network personnel.

(12) Participate in meteorological emergency support tasks according to needs.

(4) Ningbo Lightning Protection Center

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

(1) Carry out lightning disaster prevention work and be responsible for lightning protection within its jurisdiction Regular maintenance and testing of facilities and establishment of corresponding files.

(2) Responsible for the review of lightning protection drawings of buildings and structures within their jurisdiction, follow-up supervision and inspection, and completion acceptance.

(3) Carry out lightning disaster investigation and disaster assessment.

(4) Responsible for the scientific popularization and publicity of lightning disaster knowledge.

(5) Responsible for technical guidance on lightning protection work in the city.

(6) Responsible for organizing the research and development of lightning protection technology.

(7) Assist in the formulation and implementation of the city’s lightning disaster prevention planning, plans.

(8) Carry out the design, construction and installation, and technical consultation of lightning disaster prevention projects.

(9) Undertake other matters assigned by the Municipal Bureau.

(5) Logistics Service Center

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

(1) Responsible for the bureau’s external reception and bureau agencies, meteorological observatory, meteorological information center, and meteorological monitoring network Vehicle management and support services for the center and other units to ensure official vehicles for each unit.

(2) Responsible for real estate management and civil construction management at the bureau level.

(3) Responsible for the logistics support services and daily management of the bureau office building and weather radar station (hereinafter referred to as the building) such as the staff canteen, guard security, sanitation and greening.

(4) Responsible for the normal operation of the building’s power supply, water supply, communication, sound control and other systems and the safe operation of the electrical parts of elevators, air conditioners and water pumps, and the management and maintenance of their equipment.

(5) Responsible for the maintenance, management and pipe dredging of the building’s water supply, drainage and sewage systems (including fire water supply systems) to ensure smooth flow.

(6) Responsible for daily work such as the management and operation of weather radar stations and meteorological science museums, as well as contact and coordination with relevant local departments.

(7) Undertake the check-in work of weather radar on Dapeng Mountain.
