Minneapolis environment

There are 22 light and beautiful small lakes in Minneapolis, surrounded by winding paths, shaded by trees, and luxuriant flowers and plants. There are also 156 parks of various sizes in the city. The central business district is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River. The 57-story International Development Corporation (IDC) Building and Nicollet Mall are the city's main buildings. The garden houses around the lake have an elegant and tranquil environment, making them an ideal residential area. Because Minneapolis is located in the north, at the same latitude as central Heilongjiang, China, the temperature in winter can drop to minus 30-40 degrees Celsius, and the snow can sometimes be as deep as 2 meters. In order to facilitate pedestrians, glass-sealed sky corridors have been set up between the downtown buildings to become "overpasses", with a total length of about five kilometers. Even in the freezing cold weather for nine days, pedestrians will not be affected by the severe cold.
