When I opened the floodgate of memory, many things appeared in my mind one after another, including the happiest thing, the most regretful thing and the most proud thing. Speaking of playing table tennis, we should start from the summer vacation of senior one. That was when I first started learning. I don't even know how to hold a racket, and I find it difficult. But with the encouragement of my mother and the careful guidance of my teacher, I worked hard and everything paid off. After half a year, my playing skills have been greatly improved.

At the beginning of this year, the teacher said that I played well and could participate in the competition in May. I'm glad to hear the news. I can finally take part in the competition. At that stage, after school on Wednesday and Friday afternoon, everyone was still playing at school, so I went home early, and then I hurried to practice. It has been raining and windy. I'm tired and backache every day, but my skills are getting better every day. I looked around, waited and waited, and finally waited for the day of the game.

I entered the overseas Chinese hometown gymnasium to participate in the competition. My opponents have participated in competitions before, and their skills are excellent. In the first two rounds, my opponent and I chased each other on the score, but because we were too nervous, we were finally defeated. At the beginning of the third round, I took a deep breath at the table and served a backspin steadily. My opponent immediately connected with a racket and the ball flew straight past. I quickly stepped forward and kicked it. Next, constantly change the style of play to deal with opponents, sometimes rubbing, sometimes pulling, and sometimes cutting. The game entered a white-hot stage. After several draws back and forth, I became more and more brave and gradually gained the upper hand. I finally won. I am ecstatic.
