Is Shanghai Linsan Temple Fair usually held?

Linsan Temple Fair, to be exact, should be a folk culture festival in Shanghai. In the first year, Lin San held it himself. It was called the temple fair in March and a half (March 15th of the lunar calendar). It has always existed in history, but it was later broken and Lin San recovered. The next few sessions were jointly organized by the Tourism Bureau and other city units and upgraded to the Shanghai Folk Culture Festival. During the festival, it usually lasts about a week and a half. There are many distinctive folk skills and snacks, such as a hodgepodge, many performances, people from other provinces and cities, people from other nationalities, and some foreign friends. Generally speaking, festivals are still busy and crowded. The old street is less than one kilometer long, and it won't take long to visit. It is mainly composed of some folk pavilions, such as embroidery pavilions, porcelain carving pavilions, and well-known local dragon and lion dances. It's interesting for modern urbanites to tour the city.

However, after the festival, there are almost no tourists in this old street during normal times, but there are many local residents. After China on the Tip of the Tongue was broadcast, the local restaurant in this old street became famous. Many people came to order food every day, but few tourists in other stores. But if the weather is fine, it is quite comfortable to sit by the river and have tea and chat when you are free.

I have experienced and participated in the development of Lin San over the years, and every temple fair is on the scene. Sanlintang Old Street, or the ancient town, is actually relatively general in architectural form and texture, but it does not have the style of a real ancient town. The renovation of the facade of the building facing the street is also general, but it is close to the urban area and has many folk customs. This seems to be a unique quiet place in the city. If you have the concept of investment and overall protection and transformation, it should be a new leisure place in Shanghai. Helpless development is slow, encountering bottlenecks, and sincerely hope that it can survive and catch fire.

By the way, it should open on April 27th this year.
