Is the cyclone high or low?

Cyclones are low pressure.

When the air rises due to heat, the air pressure near the ground is low, and the surrounding air pressure flows to the middle. Once again, it will form rainy weather under the control of the weather system.

In the northern hemisphere, the wind in the low pressure rotates counterclockwise and blows obliquely to the center of the low pressure through the isobar. Therefore, at the lower level, the surrounding air converges to the center, forming an upward movement of air near the center of low pressure.

Under the high-pressure cyclone, it is sunny and cold in winter and sunny and hot in summer. Under the action of low-pressure cyclone, it is rainy and snowy in winter, sunny in summer and hot and humid.

Cyclones move counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere, but rotate in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere. The air pressure in the center is the lowest, and gradually rises outward, and the air continuously flows into the center, forming an updraft, also known as low air pressure.

Its diameter ranges from tens of kilometers to thousands of kilometers. When there is cyclone influence, it is often prone to stormy weather. The cyclone center is dominated by updraft, so it is rainy, and there is usually downdraft around it, which is easy to dry and sunny. The familiar typhoon is like this.
