Reasons for the relocation of Bai Jie Airport in Dazhou

Five routes have been opened in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Kunming. At present, Heshi Airport has only two aprons. Once multiple flights arrive at the same time because of the weather, the "stomach is too small" to accommodate. The expansion will begin after the Spring Festival and be put into use at the end of the year. It is planned to build two more aprons, and the runway will be thickened and lengthened, and the length will be increased to 2 1 15m.

More people, fewer planes and more and more crowded are the direct reasons for the expansion or relocation of the airport. But the more important reason is related to natural gas in Dazhou. Heshi Airport is too close to the chemical industry park. After a large number of enterprises in the chemical park are put into production, it is difficult to meet the clearance requirements of the airport, and the airport must be relocated.

Since the exploitation of Puguang gas field, two giants, PetroChina and Sinopec, have invested hundreds of billions of yuan here to exploit and purify the natural gas here and lay pipelines. Dazhou clearly put forward the goal of building a natural gas energy and chemical base in the west of China, planned a 30-square-kilometer natural gas energy and chemical zone, and introduced more than ten large enterprises such as Wengfu in Guizhou, Qilu Petrochemical, Jiuyuan in Hong Kong and Huixin Energy to build a natural gas-related industrial cluster.

Huge capital investment and the launch of a large number of projects have greatly increased the popularity of Dazhou, and at the same time put forward new and higher requirements for air transportation. A staff member of Sinopec's "Sichuan-East Gas Transmission" Command told reporters that during the peak period, only 30,000 workers and technicians participated in the exploration and exploitation, purification plant and pipeline construction of Puguang gas field, most of them from other places.

Dazhou Airport has undergone three expansions. After the resumption of air service in 2006, the passenger throughput reached 29,500 passengers in that year, 80,000 passengers in 2007, 65,438+passengers in 2008 and/kloc-0.4 million passengers in 2009. 20 13 reached 2 10000 person-times.
