There is a saying that "no arrangement is the best arrangement." Looking back on this self-driving trip to Guizhou, I originally had high hopes for the Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang, but I didn't leave much. I had a deep impression, but I went to Fanjing Mountain with the mentality that I could not miss it as I was passing by, and the Maolan primeval forest in Libo behind me, which added so much happiness and profound memories to my trip.

When I got up in the morning, the rain had stopped. The boss said that it was a coincidence that I came. It rained heavily yesterday and Fanjing Mountain was closed to thank guests. If I had come yesterday, I would have had to wait all day. I came at the right time. .

There were not many cars in the parking lot. In the off-season, there were not many tourists. However, I met several self-driving tourists from other places, from all over the world, chatting with each other all the way. It felt really good;

The weather is still not very good, the fog is still very heavy, and there is a little drizzle. The mountains in the distance are basically covered with mist on the mountainside. I am worried that this trip to Mount Fanjing will be like Enshi, everything is foggy. Out of sight. At this time, I still don’t know that I will have one of the most amazing itineraries of this self-driving trip, so I won’t press it for now, hehehehe!

Come on, come on, the old rules, look at the map first. There are basically three sections to visit Fanjing Mountain. To go up from the visitor center, you need to take a tour bus to the cableway station first, and then change to the cable car to reach the top of the mountain. Ropeway station, and then start the main hiking tour. Of course, if you like mountaineering, you can skip the cable car and climb all the way up from the starting point of the hiking trail to the summit cableway station. The whole journey is 13,800 steps and takes about 4 hours, unless you are a mountaineering enthusiast and your focus is on climbing rather than the beautiful scenery. , then you can hike up the mountain, otherwise you should just take the cable car, because the most worth seeing in Fanjing Mountain is not the climbing, but the wonderland at the top;

The tour bus went down the cableway, with light rain falling all the way, and the cable car climbed higher and higher. High, rising higher and higher...

Suddenly, my eyes lit up! The cable car passed through the clouds and fog, and the sun was shining instantly and the sky was clear! It turns out that we passed through cumulonimbus clouds and came to the "City in the Sky"!

Look at the sea of ??clouds in the distance! I don't know what words to use to describe such beauty. I just feel that I have come to fairyland from the human world!

Seeing the sea of ??clouds for the first time, the mountains between the clouds and mist are so beautiful that they are mesmerizing! No amount of words, no matter how many photos, no amount of videos, can show the beauty of nature!

Going from the ropeway station to the top of the mountain is where the real beauty lies. There are two routes to the top of the mountain. First, take the climbing wooden plank road to Mushroom Rock and Old Golden Summit, and then go down the mountain from the stone steps of Hongyun Golden Summit, or vice versa. My suggestion is that if there is a sea of ??clouds when you go up the mountain, then it is recommended to go to Mushroom Rock and Lao Jinding first. If there is no sea of ??clouds, it is recommended to go to Hongyun Jinding first;

Start climbing from the forest plank road, and the altitude begins to increase. , but not to the point of altitude sickness, but I did see some with oxygen tanks. There are about 1,000 levels of walking on the wooden plank road, but the scenery is beautiful along the way and you don't feel tired at all.

If you can't climb, there are slide poles that can lift you up, but the price is of course expensive;

The mountain and the mountain are simply two different worlds! It was drizzling under the mountain and the wind was bone-chilling, but there was actually blue sky and white clouds on the mountain, and the sky was clear! The temperature is also very different. You need to wear down jackets at the bottom of the mountain. When you go to the mountain, many people take off their down jackets and just wear a long-sleeved T-shirt;

Fanjing Mountain not only has beautiful scenery, but also There were many wild animals, and small animals crossed from time to time along the way. Unfortunately, they all ran too fast and couldn't be photographed at all. However, I captured this cute little bird. Walking out of the forest boardwalk, we arrived at the first viewing point, Pudu Square. This is an excellent place to watch the sea of ??clouds. It is said to be the perfect place to take photos of the sunrise in the morning. Unfortunately, Fanjing Mountain does not allow it now. We were camping and had no chance to take photos of the sunrise; reveal the answer! There is an owl perched on a branch, can you see it?

Going down from Pudu Square, the Red Cloud Golden Summit in the distance and the Chengen Temple at the foot of the mountain are picturesque. Such beautiful scenery can only be seen several times in the world. People who live here must live a long life;

It is said that when the sun rises in the east or the sun sets in the west, near the Golden Summit, you can see colorful flowers in the clouds and mist facing away from the direction of the sun. Huge halo, gorgeous and magical, but unfortunately, there is no such opportunity;

The green mountains, white clouds and mist are dotted with red prayer platforms. Such a picture is difficult to see through the eyes. There are so many photography enthusiasts who can take photos there all day long with various equipment;

Start climbing to the Old Golden Summit! The stone steps are very steep and narrow, and in many places only one person can pass. In fact, the road to Lao Jinding is pretty good, but the road to Hongyun Jinding is really difficult to climb!

Start climbing to the Red Cloud Golden Summit! It was much more difficult than climbing Lao Jinding just now. I wanted to give up several times, but in the end the temptation of the beautiful scenery supported me all the way to the top;

Finally reached the top! There is a huge crack on the top of the mountain that splits the Golden Dome into two halves from the top down. The upper half is divided into two, and the two ends are connected by a sky bridge. The distance between them is only three or four meters. This crack looks like it was split by a golden knife, so it is also called Jindao Gorge;

Start going down the mountain. Going up the mountain and going down the mountain are not the same way. Basically, you have to climb up from the right to go up the mountain, and you have to circle down from the left to go down the mountain. The stone steps are really too narrow and you can't turn around at all;

It was already around 4 pm when we came down from the Red Cloud Golden Summit. Under the Red Cloud Golden Summit was the Chengen Temple. The clouds and mist were already rising, and the entire Fanjing Mountain was gradually shrouded in thick fog. It is no longer as clear-cut as the beautiful scenery in the morning.

Follow the Tianjie Trail all the way down the mountain, take the cable car and reverse the tour bus back to the bottom of the mountain, and end the day on Mount Fanjing. Although people have disembarked from the trip, my mood cannot be calmed for a long time. Going to Fanjing Mountain still requires a little bit of luck. It won’t rain, so you can’t go up the mountain. It’s a sunny day, and there is no sea of ??clouds, which lacks that unique charm. But this time I went, I really It's just our luck that all the favorable conditions came together to enjoy such beautiful scenery. I met other tourists who said that those who arrived yesterday were unable to go up the mountain because of heavy rain and had to wait at the foot of the mountain for a whole day, while others waited for two or three days.
