The hottest city in Guangxi is actually Baise. What is the reason?

However, when the westerly airflow flows from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with high terrain to the eastern part of southwest China, the airflow sinks and heats up, which is easy to form a foehn and aggravate the temperature rise.

There is also the influence of two major weather systems: southwest thermal depression and subtropical high.

From March to May every year, the southwest thermal depression over the border between western Guangxi and Yunnan and Guizhou develops vigorously. It is like a huge open net, and Baise is in the center of this net, so extreme maximum temperature is most likely to occur at this time of year.

From June to September, the high temperature weather in Baise is mainly affected by the subtropical high or the low-level airflow around the typhoon. Weather conditions such as sunny and partly cloudy make solar radiation reach the ground more, and the atmospheric temperature on the ground and near the ground rises obviously, so high temperature weather appears.
