Ruzhou is a county-level city directly under the jurisdiction of Henan Province. Ru Ci, the capital, the hometown of traditional Chinese opera, is known as the "Hundred Miles of Coal Sea". Ruzhou is a regional central city in the southwest of Henan Province, located in the central and western part of Henan Province, with the majestic Songshan Mountain in the north, Funiu in the south, Luoyang in the west, Huanghuai Plain in the east and Ruhe River running through the whole territory from west to east in the north. Ruzhou Hot Springs are rich in more than 50 kinds of trace elements and minerals such as lithium, strontium, barium, cerium, germanium, calcium, tungsten, metaboric acid and metasilicic acid, which can be widely used in medical treatment, health care, bathing, heating and industrial and agricultural production. It is an ideal natural hot water resource and a high-heat compound mineral spring with high medical value in China. Bauxite, cement limestone and its reserves occupy an important position in Henan Province.
