The climate of Wuyishan

Wuyishan is located in the middle subtropical zone, with overlapping mountains. There are more than 30 peaks above 1800 meters above sea level, forming a natural barrier, which can block or weaken the invasion of cold air in the north in winter. It has the climatic characteristics of heavy precipitation, high humidity, long fog and obvious vertical change. The temperature in Wuyishan is even, mild and humid in four seasons, with an annual average temperature of 17.6℃ and an average precipitation of 1864 mm. Generally speaking, it is suitable to visit Wuyi in spring, summer and autumn, but the natural scenery of Wuyishan will be greatly reduced when the mountain scenery is depressed in winter, and although the temperature is high in summer, it is the time when everything grows most luxuriantly and the natural scenery of Wuyishan is most distinctive.
