Thinking of returning to the south this time, this journey is another road. Thousands of miles away, it is misty, and the night sky is a vast night fog.

Since ancient times, feelings of sadness and parting are even more worthy of being left out in the cold. Who knows where I am when I am awake tonight? Fear is just the edge, facing the sad morning breeze and the waning moon. This is a long time, people who love each other are not together, and I even expect to be satisfied with the good weather and scenery in name only. Since ancient times, sentimental people have always been sad for parting, not to mention in this cold and desolate autumn! Who knows where I will wake up tonight? I'm afraid only Liu 'an faces the sharp morning breeze and the waning moon at dawn. I've been away for a long time, and it's estimated that even if I meet good weather and scenery, it's just like nothing. Even if there is full affection, who will tell?

Liu Yong is frustrated and resentful because of his sincere lyrics, and often hangs around the Chu Museum, writing lyrics for singers and musicians. This word should be Liu Yong's farewell to his lover when he went south from Bianjing.

Yulinling is Liu Yong's famous masterpiece. This poem was written when the poet was frustrated in his official career and had to leave the capital (Bianjing, Kaifeng, Henan).
