When is it suitable to go to Qi Xian Cave?
Beijing is located on the northern edge of North China Plain, surrounded by mountains and seas. It belongs to a typical warm temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Spring flowers, autumn moon, summer rain and winter snow have their own characteristics. The annual average temperature is 1 1.8℃, the coldest is 1.6℃, the hottest is July, and the monthly average is 26. 1℃. Beijing has shorter spring and autumn seasons and longer winter, with an average annual precipitation of 644 mm and a frost-free period of 180 days. Although the winter in Beijing is very long, the indoor heating equipment is very good and warm as spring. Because of the great temperature difference between indoor and outdoor, you should take sweaters and cotton-padded clothes when you travel to Beijing in winter.
Newspapers, radio stations and TV stations in Beijing all have weather forecast columns and explanations, so please pay attention. You can also call 859, which provides the weather forecast for the same day and the next day in Chinese and English.
But most of Beijing's tourism projects are cultural relics, scenic buildings and folk customs. These projects are not affected by the climate, and you can go to Beijing all year round. Travel agencies and restaurants in Beijing have off-season prices in winter, which can save a lot.
Qi Xian Cave is located in Guanshang Village, Zhang Fang Town, Fangshan District, Beijing. It is less than100km away from Beijing Third Ring Road. It is the only cave in northern China that enters by a 500-meter waterway. This cave was opened by an enthusiastic group in Guancun in the spring of 1998. Immediately caused a sensation in all directions, saying that Shihua Palace is a sinkhole. Then a monk looking for a place to practice in Wutai Mountain visited the cave and marveled: Good! Very good! There are people in the world, there are days behind, and there are holes in the hole. Immortals live here, and we are humble, Amitabha. From then on, it was named Qi Xian Cave and made public. The upper area of Dongguan consists of many isolated caves. It is rare to see such concentration, such a large scale and so many landscapes. It is comparable to China's so-called four caves: Shihua Cave in Fujian, reed flute cave Cave in Guilin, Yaolin Cave in Hangzhou and Qianzhen Cave in Beijing, keeping pace with the world and being unique. The karst cave strata are dolomitic limestone and sandy dolomite. It was formed in the Early Sinian/kloc-0.6 billion years ago. In other words, 654.38+600 million years ago, this was the Wang Yang Sea, and there were huge carbonate deposits on the seabed. Due to the uplift of the earth's crust, it passed through Cang Sang several times, and about 1 100 million years ago, orogeny occurred in North China, forming the Western Hills of Beijing. Under the comprehensive action of paleoclimate, paleogeography and paleohydrogeology, carbonate strata with strong solubility are eroded by groundwater along the fault zone, and then collapse, scour and dissolve, forming a series of groundwater channels with different diameters and lengths over time, ranging from several meters to thousands of meters. When the earth's crust rises again and the cave leaves the water, it enters a long stone flower growth stage. Carbonate precipitates in water, recrystallizes in the cave and adheres to the cave wall, roof and bottom, which is the stone flower. Qi Xian Cave is one of them. Stone flowers in caves began to grow and develop 6,543,800 years ago, and are still growing, modifying and perfecting themselves today. According to the classification of cave sediments, we can see five sedimentary types and dozens of forms, including stalactites, stone rafts, stone curtains, stone pillars, stone pagodas, stone waterfalls, stone mirrors, Shi Lian, stone Buddha's hands, crystal flowers, calcium slabs and stone drums. The above forms range from microscopic images to macroscopic images. There are farmyard, Hangzhou, shrinking Panlong Yuzhu Stone Waterfall, Taishang Pavilion, Fairy Hall, the sky wants to pour turtles with crocodiles, defend the cave, the Eight Immortals cross the sea, the monks make giant bergamot, Yu Lian in the cave of tropical rain forest, and so on. In particular, this river looks like the landscape of our mother river, the Yellow River Basin. Glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, canyons and plateaus at the source. It's all amazing.
