[Edit this paragraph] Regional introduction
French Guiana is an overseas territory and a region of France. It borders the Atlantic Ocean to the north, Brazil to the east and south, and Suriname to the west. The country's narrow coastline is below sea level, so a prairie has gradually formed. The inland areas are covered with dense forests from hills to mountains.
The average temperature in the inland is 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius) and the humidity is very high. However, the trade winds can make the coastal climate very comfortable. There are two rainy seasons every year-11and April-June, with showers and no continuous rainfall.
French Guiana is located on the northeast coast of South America, and its area is equivalent to Ireland or Indiana in the United States. It borders Brazil in the east and south, the Atlantic Ocean in the north, Suriname in the west, Marovina and Litani River. Residents of about 90% countries hardly live in tropical rain forests. On the border of Brazil, from the long beach along the coast, they gradually rose to the moderate Tumac-Humac Mountain. Most Guyanese live on the Atlantic coast, where most of the country's limited road network is located. The coast is mainly connected with mangrove swamps, forming beaches. Animals in Central and South America include monkeys, crocodiles, jackals, jaguars and anteaters. French Guiana is a very humid country. Even if it doesn't rain, the humidity in the air is very high. Because the country is located in the equatorial rain forest belt, the temperature is around 30℃ and the annual rainfall exceeds 250cm. The rainy season is from 1 to June, with the most rain in May. Cayenne, the capital, is as livable as the Atlantic coast, and most inland areas are sultry.

The average annual temperature in coastal areas is 25-26℃, and the annual precipitation reaches 3500mm. Forests account for more than 80% of the whole territory. There are bauxite, gold, tantalum and iron ore here. /kloc-At the beginning of the 7th century, France began to invade. After that, Britain, the Netherlands, France and Portugal competed for this place, and it finally belonged to France in 18 16. 1946 France declared French Guiana an "overseas department" of France. 1977 became a large area of France.
history
The original inhabitants of French Guiana are Caribbean and Arawak Indians.
Christopher Columbus came to the coast of Guyana on 1498. More than a hundred years later, the Dutch began to colonize here. From 1604, France, the Netherlands and Britain began to establish colonies here. Commercial arrangements that only control territory are often transferred, and France consolidated regional control in 18 17. Sugar and rainforest timber became the economic pillars of the colony. Slaves brought the work of planting sugar orchards from Africa, although their success was limited by the hostility of local Indians and tropical diseases. And after the abolition of slavery in 1848, the output of plantations was always lower than that of French Caribbean colonies, and the local industry almost collapsed. At about the same time, France decided to reduce prison costs and immigrate prisoners to Guyana to contribute to the development of the colony. About 70,000 criminals-including alfred dreyfus and Henri Papillon Charriere-arrived between 1852 and 1939. At first, many exiled criminals survived in harsh environment, and most of them died of malaria and fever. After World War II, Guyana has been a colony of criminals and became a government department of France in 1946. Since then, many indigenous people have called for autonomy, although only 5% people are in favor of independence from France, partly because the French government has provided more subsidies. French Guiana has had limited autonomy since 1947. Since then, the region has two seats in the French National Assembly and the Senate. 1968 Europe established a space launch site in Kourou, where Aryan rockets were launched. In Kourou, the European space program turned this corner of French Guiana into a modern world and attracted some forces to move here to work.

French Guiana mainly believes in Roman Catholicism, and French is the official language. Almost everyone speaks Creole, French Guiana, slaves who fled at that time and American Indians, keeps their own religion, and speaks Arawak, Caribbean, Emory, Oyapi, Palikur and Vaiana. Signs and symbols are all connected with France, and the influence of France is mixed with francs, police and roadside cafes-carnivals, carnivals, slave wood carvings, Caribbean music and dances, which brings an obvious non-Latin atmosphere to Guyana.
