Where to go? go on road trip, the grassland around Beijing.

The friends in Beijing want to see the vast grassland without running far. Some cities around Beijing have many beautiful grasslands. The following small series recommends several good places for everyone. Go to road trip!

1, Prairie Tianlu Prairie Tianlu is called the route 66 of China. Along the road, there are winding rivers and mountains, deep ditches, meadows, cattle and sheep, and amazing landscapes.

It shows a landscape picture of Balibat, and has many cultural, ecological and geological tourism resources such as the ruins of the ancient Great Wall, Huapiling, Yehuling and Zhangbei grassland.

Self-driving route: Route 1: Beijing -G6 (Qinghe Toll Station)-Zhangshi Expressway (Zhangjiakou North Exit 2) (see gas station on the right) turn right -207 national highway-Yehuling turn right-Huapiling (exit) -S242-S345-S24 1-G6 (Shacheng entrance)-Kangzhuang.

Line 2: Beijing -G6 (Qinghe Toll Station) -G6 (Huailai Exit) -S24 1 (towards Chicheng) -S345-S24 1 (towards Guyuan).

Huapiling (East Entrance of Grassland Tianlu)-Yehuling (West Exit of Grassland Tianlu)-Zhangbei-Beijing

Mileage: 600km from Beijing to Grassland Tianlu (round trip). It is suggested to pass Badaling Expressway before 07:00 to avoid traffic jam. Beijing has plenty of time to visit Prairie Road for 2 days!

2. Bashang Grassland in Fengning is located in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County and belongs to Chengde City, Hebei Province. The first grassland resort in northern Beijing, with Bashang Plateau as the region, has attracted many Chinese and foreign guests for summer vacation with its fresh, cool and pleasant climate.

The area under the dam is hilly, with Longtan Waterfalls, deep canyons, criss-crossing mountains and rivers and pleasant scenery. The area adjacent to the dam is a natural kingdom for gathering and hunting. Bashang area is an ideal summer resort with vast land, lush grass, blooming flowers and cool summer climate.

Self-driving route: 280km from Beijing-Huairou-Yanqi Lake-Tanghekou-Changshaoying-Lamashan-Fengning County-Tucheng Town-datan town (the first grassland in the north of Beijing).

3. Kangbao Grassland Kangbanor Grassland is located in Wolongtu, 3 kilometers southwest of Kangbao County, at the southern foot of Yinshan Mountain, with an average elevation of 1.400 meters, and the daily average temperature is 8.5℃ lower than that of Beijing.

The sky here is high and the clouds are light, the land is clean, the air is fresh and pleasant, and the grassland scenery is beautiful. No matter spring, summer, autumn and winter, the unique climatic conditions with changeable wind direction are maintained every day.

Self-driving route: Zhangshi Expressway-Zhangbei/Kangbao/Shangyi Exit-Drive 46 kilometers along Provincial Highway 245-Yingbin Road -45 1 County Road-Kangbanol Grassland.

4. Guyuan Grassland Guyuan Grassland is located at the southern end of Inner Mongolia Plateau, outside the ancient Great Wall, 260 kilometers away from Beijing, and it is the closest primitive wetland grassland to Beijing.

Guyuan grassland is a natural wild botanical garden outside the Great Wall. In summer, bees fly and butterflies dance, springs rush, the scenery is infinite, the lake is vast, and the rugged and winding charcoal mountains and endless natural grasslands attract emperors, generals and literati to cruise and watch.

Self-driving route: Beijing-Beijing-Tibet Expressway-Huailai-Chicheng-Guyuan.

5. Saihanba National Forest Park Saihanba National Forest Park is located in Weichang County, Chengde City and is a part of Mulan Weichang. It used to be the royal hunting ground of the Qing Dynasty, with vast grasslands and forests, and lakes and hills dotted among them. This is a beautiful scenery outside the Great Wall.

Saihanba is not far from Beijing, and it is an excellent place to see the scenery outside the Great Wall in the suburbs of Beijing. Saihanba National Forest Park has a large area, with a length and width of more than ten kilometers, including small towns and many scenic spots, where vehicles can enter. Suitable for go on road trip.

Self-driving route: Route 1: Take Jingcheng Expressway, 230 kilometers, and go to Chengde first. Have lunch in Chengde, then walk 240 kilometers, arrive at Saihanba National Forest Park, stay, and return to Beijing along the original road the next day.

Route 2: Take Jingcheng Expressway, go north via Huairou, and stay in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County. The next day, I left Fengning via G11National Road and stayed in Saihanba National Forest Park. On the third day, I set out from Saihanba, passed Weichang County and Chengde City, and returned to Beijing.

6. Chengde Mulan paddock grassland has been a grassland with abundant water plants and animals since ancient times. Li Qian Pine Forest was once the hunting place of Liao emperors, and Mulan paddock was also the place where Qing emperors held Mulan Autumn.

There are vast forests, vast grasslands, clear plateau lakes and historical sites of the Qing Dynasty.

Self-driving route: Route 1: Chengde West Line, * * * 450km Sanyuanqiao-Jingcheng Expressway-Chengde West-Longhua County-Weichang County-Yudaokou-Wulanbutong Hongshan Military Racecourse.

Line 2: Luanping Line, with a total length of 420km, Sanyuan Bridge-Jingcheng Expressway-Luanping Exit-Luanping County-Longhua County-Yudaokou, Saihanba Grassland Forest Park Toll Station-Wulanbutong Hongshan Military Racecourse.

Route 3: Avoid Saihanba and go directly to Mulan paddock-Beijing-Jingcheng Expressway-Shuangluan Exit-Longhua County-Yudaokou-Duolun Direction-Hexigten Banner Direction-Wulan Different Hongshan Military Racecourse.

7. Zhangbei Bashang Grassland is located in the north of Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City. This used to be the place where the Qing emperor went hunting in autumn. The air here is pure, with little pollution, and it is a well-preserved natural grassland.

In summer, the weather on the grassland is cool, flowers are everywhere, and white clouds are fluttering, so you can visit the grassland scenery. You can live in a unique yurt or bring your own tent.

Self-driving route: Beijing Madian Bridge-Changping-Badaling-Yanqing-Huailai-Xiahuayuan-Xuanhua-Zhangjiakou-Zhangbeiba, the whole journey is about 260 kilometers.

8. Yuxian County, air grassland City, air grassland, is a famous air grassland at the top of the mountain at an altitude of 2 158m. Air grassland, an alpine wetland meadow, is named "air grassland" because of its high terrain. There are many strange rocks and winding cliffs in the south of the grassland, with an endless flower sea grassland in the middle and a big forest in the north.

The average temperature is about 15℃, with various climatic conditions and rapid weather changes. There is no heat in summer and no dust in spring. The air is fresh, the green is like a carpet, flowers and plants are intertwined, and trees are lush. Bai Yunfei is connected with heaven and earth, and the mountains are endless, just like a natural botanical garden.

Self-driving route: Beijing-Tibet Expressway, after Xuanhua, turn to Xuanhua Expressway, after a short camp, turn to Zhangshi Expressway, get off at Yuxian East Exit, and find the sign in Yuxian.
