What's the climate like in Xiamen all year round?

The climate of "Xiamen": there is no severe cold in winter and no heat in summer. The annual average temperature is about 2 1℃, which is mild and rainy.

Xiamen has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate, with an average annual rainfall of about 1 200mm, with the maximum rainfall from May to August every year. The wind force is generally 3-4, and the dominant wind force is the northeast wind. Due to the temperature difference airflow in the Pacific Ocean, it is affected by 4-5 typhoons every year on average, mostly in July-September.

Xiamen is located at the southeast end of Fujian Province, bordering Zhangzhou in the west, Nan 'an and Jinjiang in the north, and Dajinmen and Dadan Island across the sea in the southeast. It is a major city in southern Fujian. Together with Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, it is also called Xiamen-Zhang Quan Minnan Golden Triangle Economic Zone.

Xiamen is dominated by coastal plains, terraces and hills. Xiamen's topography inclines from northwest to southeast, and there are various types of topography, including Zhongshan, low mountains, high hills, low hills, terraces, plains and beaches. There are many middle and low mountains in the northwest, among which Genting Mountain, located at the junction of Tongan and Anxi, is the highest mountain in the city with an altitude of 1 175.2 meters.
