How to know the weather from the clouds?

There are clouds hanging in the sky and rain dripping on the ground. Hook cloud is called hook cloud in meteorology, which generally appears in front of warm front and low pressure. The appearance of hook clouds indicates that a front or low pressure is coming, which is a precursor to rain. But after rain or winter, there will be sunny days or frost, so there is a proverb that "the hook cloud dissipates, the sunny day is dry" and "the winter hook cloud dries up"

"The carp spot in the sky won't have to be turned over tomorrow." Carp spot refers to translucent cumulus clouds, and the air mass that produces this cloud is stable. In the evening, when encountering downdraft, the cloud dissipated faster, and it cleared up the next day. However, if the cloud looks like a tiny fish scale, it is cirrocumulus. This kind of cloud mostly appears in front of the trough of low pressure or around the typhoon, and there will be wind or rain in the near future. Therefore, there is a proverb "It doesn't rain, but it's windy".

"The clouds are heading east, blowing gusts; Where does the cloud go? Put on hemp fiber. " The cloud referred to here is the low cloud in the low pressure area. Low pressure from west to east. The cloud goes west, indicating that this place is in front of the low pressure, because it will rain locally; The cloud is moving eastward, indicating that the low pressure has moved past the local area, and the local area is behind the low pressure. The weather is going to clear up, and a strong wind often blows before it clears up.

"The cloud hook is in that direction, and the wind comes from that direction." Cloud hook refers to the tail of hooked cirrus clouds, which appears in the sky, sometimes with small hooks at the top, arranged in rows. The upper hook refers to the direction of the high-altitude wind, which is often connected with the ground, so the direction of the cloud hook can generally tell the direction of the wind.

Dark clouds cover the morning, and the wind comes without rain. It means there are dark clouds in the southeast in the morning, which indicates rain. Because the warm and humid southeast wind blows in the morning, the temperature is higher than the local air, which causes the upper part to be cold and the lower part to be hot, and the water vapor easily rises into clouds. In addition, during the day, the ground is heated, and the air convection rises, which further promotes the clouds to rise. When it meets cold water vapor, it becomes water droplets, which may make it windless and rainy.

Huang Yun is flying up and down. It's going to lay ice eggs. Most of the yellow clouds are caused by the strong rise of warm and humid air. In this case, there are many showers and hail.

"The mountain wears a hat, and the rain is coming." Wearing a hat on the mountain means that the air pressure is low, and most of the water vapor in the air forms clouds at the top of the mountain. As for whether it will rain, it generally depends. If the clouds gradually decrease and thicken, there is a great possibility of rain. On the contrary, if the clouds gradually rise and thin, the possibility of rain is small.

"Clouds eat fog, and fog eats clear clouds". After seeing the fog, the clouds came. Maybe a low pressure is coming, which is a sign of rain. On the contrary, if the clouds clear, it means that the low pressure has passed and sunny weather is coming.

Understand the weather by observing the wind.

The wind blew for three days. It means spring. If there is strong cold air from the north, there will be wind. After the strong wind has passed, there is still a small stream of cold air moving intermittently, which usually lasts for two or three days.

"The wind is turning back, especially big." When the wind moves in a certain direction, if it suddenly changes direction, it means that there is a front crossing and there will be a storm warning.

It doesn't rain in the east wind. The east wind or southeast wind of R&F comes from the warm and humid air flow at sea, but if there is no cold air flow to lift it up, it is generally impossible to form clouds and cause rain.

"It is sunny in the west for a long time, and it is sunny in the west for a long time." In the case of long sunny days, although there is warm and humid air from the ocean, it is not easy to rain if there is no cold air rising; If there is cold air from the northwest at this time and the warm and humid airflow rises, it is easy to form clouds and cause rainfall. If the northwest wind blows in the case of long rain, it will drive out the local warm and humid air, so the weather will clear up soon.

The wind blows over a large area, and the hail hits a line. Wind is a flowing atmosphere, so it involves a wide range and a large area. Hail is an ice crystal frozen by water vapor. After repeated ups and downs, the ice crystals became thicker and heavier, and the updraft could not bear its weight and fell to the ground. Because of the uneven disturbance intensity in the cloud, the width of the strong disturbance cloud that can form hail is not large, generally only three or five kilometers, and some are even narrower, but its moving path can extend to far places, making the hail area into strips. So there is generally a saying that hail hits the line.
