Line 5 passes through Qianwan, Linhai, Bao Hua, Baoan Center, Fanshen, Lingzhi, Honglangbei, Xingdong, Liu Xian Cave, Xili, University Town, Tanglang, Changlingpei, Shenbei, Zhi Min, Wuhe, Bantian, Yangmei, Sheung Shui Path, Sewer Path, Changlong, Buji, Baigelong and Buxin.

Shenzhen Metro Line 5 is one of the eight lines operated by Shenzhen Metro and belongs to the urban rail transit system. Line 5 runs through the first and second circles of the city, connecting the three development axes of the city's west, middle and east, and passing through Baoan District, Nanshan District, Longgang District and Luohu District. It is the backbone line of Shenzhen rail transit operation network and a fast corridor connecting various groups along the line and three major transportation hubs.

Climatic characteristics of Shenzhen:

Shenzhen is located in the low latitude and belongs to the south subtropical monsoon climate, with long summer and short winter, mild climate, abundant sunshine and rainfall. Affected by the monsoon, the southeast wind prevails in summer, the monsoon is low, tropical cyclones patronize, and it is hot and rainy. In other seasons, the northeast monsoon prevails, with dry weather and mild climate, with an annual average temperature of 22.4℃ and a maximum temperature of 38.7℃.

In spring, the influence of cold air on Shenzhen begins to weaken, and the weather is changeable, and there are often warm and cold weather. There is still strong influence of cold air in early spring, and cold wave weather can still appear in late February a few years later, with less rain and different degrees of drought in most years. In summer, under the stable control of subtropical high, high temperature weather often occurs, which is the period when extreme maximum temperature appears.
