The geographical environment of Anxiang

Anxiang is located in110 59' e ~11218' n ~ 29 46'. The county is 7 1 km long from north to south and 30 km wide from east to west, with a total area of 1087.032 square kilometers. The cultivated land area is 656,783 mu, with a total water surface of 204,500 mu.

There are eight main and tributaries in Anxiang, among which Jingjiang River is the main one, followed by Lishui River, which transits from north to south and flows into Dongting Lake. The total length is 280.3 kilometers, of which 0.2% is used for irrigation. The depth of runoff is about 635 mm in Chenjiazui in the south and 583 mm in Guandong in the north. The average annual runoff depth of the whole territory is 6 16.2 mm, and the runoff depth of 1989 is 688 mm.

The main rivers are:

Lishui: It originates from the planting mulberry and Chinese fir field, flows south along the west side of Baoan Garden, exits at Caijiazhou Beach, flows into Pinghu, and passes through the county seat for 49 kilometers.

Wuli River: starting from Zhangjiutai in the north and reaching Huikou in the south, it is a tributary connecting Songzi Zhongzhi Autonomous Bureau River and Lishui Spillway. It is 3.2 kilometers long. Because of the relative conversion of water level and discharge in different periods, the flow direction is uncertain.

Songzi River: After flooding from Chen Er mouth (near Chen Jiawei) in Songzi County, it flows to Hujiagang and divides into two tributaries. The west branch flows into Lixian county through Qinglong cellar in this county, then flows into Qili Lake through Pengjiagang and Haokou, and then flows into Lishui spillway. The east branch is called Dahukou River, which passes through Wangshou Temple, Tanzikou and Dahukou to Nozomi, and joins the middle branch, with a territory of 42 kilometers. The former Longhe River in Mi Hu, a branch road from north to south, and Jiaohe River connecting Dahukou River from west to east were blocked at 1938 and 1952 respectively. Anxiang has a humid monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, concentrated precipitation, abundant sunshine and heat, long frost-free period and small climate difference, which is suitable for industrial and agricultural production. However, there are also severe weather such as cold wave, strong wind, rainstorm, drought, hail and freezing, which have a serious impact on industrial and agricultural students and people's lives.
