The weather and our physical education class.

I. Definition and characteristics of abnormal weather

The so-called abnormal weather is aimed at physical education class, that is, due to various natural phenomena such as high temperature, strong wind, heavy rain and severe cold, sports activities cannot be carried out normally outdoors. Due to man-made reasons, global warming and various extreme weather events have increased. At present, the weather directly related to physical education teaching mainly includes the following types:

1. High temperature. In recent years, every June, the highest temperature in most parts of China from south to north often exceeds 35℃, and some areas even reach 40℃. To this end, the red high temperature alarm has also become a friend in our lives. In this high temperature, the weather is hot, people are prone to heatstroke, so we should try to avoid outdoor work or activities in strong sunlight. If you attend classes in such weather, it will be a kind of destruction to teachers and students, not to mention great harm to human body. It is conceivable that the sun is like fire, and strong ultraviolet rays will cause harm to the skin. Some people will say that such a day is a test and exercise for PE teachers and students. There is nothing wrong with this statement. In my opinion, it depends on when to use it. If it is military training or a hard day alone, students can be trained completely, but in normal teaching environment, we can't do this. We can't let the students stand on their heads in heatstroke, dizzy and sweaty, and have to go to the next cultural class. This effect runs counter to the purpose of our education. We are not cultivating people, but we are suspected of destroying them.

2. It's raining. Due to the influence of maritime climate, southern provinces and cities will have several rainy days at the turn of spring and summer every year, while other areas will also be affected by normal rainfall. If it rains in Mao Mao or sometimes it is a small shower, it will not affect a sports festival. If it rains continuously and there is water on the ground, you can't go to class.

3. Cold and heavy snow. Before and after winter every year, the weather in northwest, northeast and north China begins to turn cold and heavy snow falls. Snowy days usually last for 2-3 days, up to 2-3 weeks, sometimes mixed with strong winds.

4. typhoon is a strong tropical cyclone produced on the tropical ocean surface, often accompanied by strong winds and heavy rains. Therefore, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong and other coastal areas of China are the most vulnerable to typhoons. Generally speaking, there are the most typhoons from June to September, but there are fewer typhoons in1-April, and they gradually increase in May, decreasing from 10 to 12. The time for a typhoon to pass through an area is generally related to the structure and energy of the typhoon, which is generally 2-3 days, and the longest is no more than 7 days.

Second, how to deal with abnormal weather in physical education class.

If schools have gymnasiums and indoor track and field, physical education class will not be affected by abnormal weather, but most schools in China have no indoor sports venues, especially rural primary and secondary schools. We can't delude ourselves that there is no indoor sports ground. When the weather is abnormal, we don't have to go to physical education class, so naturally it becomes a self-study class or a chess activity class. This is an irresponsible attitude towards students. As a PE teacher, we should plan, plan and arrange early. According to the local weather conditions, certain class hours should be arranged in the new semester to cope with the abnormal weather in physical education class.

Open an indoor physical education class; We should stick to the idea that students' health comes first. On such a hot day, it is not easy for students to exercise on the sunny playground. We might as well set up classroom teaching such as indoor games, theoretical courses and comprehensive courses by the following means.

1. Physical education and health knowledge learning.

In previous indoor classes, teachers always drew a "court" on the blackboard and drew basketball, volleyball and football "alive" with chalk. At most, they just put a few pictures on the slide, that is, those students who are dull, lack flexibility and visibility and have poor imagination can't imagine how a small chalk basketball flew into the basket. Now, due to the rapid development of modern science and technology, multimedia technology is not only used in vocabulary, but also used in indoor physical education class, and achieved good results. For example, when I was explaining basketball shooting techniques, I collected Jordan's wonderful movements and compiled them into courseware, and made detailed comments on every step of shooting, accompanied by relaxed and rhythmic music, and demonstrated and explained them to students in the multimedia classroom, so that students could master shooting techniques in a relaxed and happy teaching process, appreciate the elegance of world-class stars, cultivate their interest in sports and enhance their enthusiasm and initiative in learning. The curriculum standard arranges the learning contents of sports and health knowledge at all levels, including sports principles. It is a very suitable opportunity to use indoor classes for teaching. Teachers can also collect information and give small lectures according to students' learning level to teach students how to do correct physical exercise. Students have a need to explore the unknown. Students are willing to accept as long as they need it.

Sports competition rules, etc. If the first one is to cultivate students' health awareness, this one is to cultivate students' sports culture awareness. Students can be introduced to the origin, development and short stories of sports events, the evolution of major sports events, the explanation of sports competition rules, how to appreciate sports competitions, etc., so that students can enjoy sports through this knowledge. For example, senior boys like basketball very much, so they can take this opportunity to give a lecture on basketball rules to improve their basketball knowledge. Teachers of these contents can find more interesting examples to increase the interest of teaching, and it is best to have video demonstrations to make boring rules vividly explained. In addition, students can try to invent and innovate a new sports activity and try it in the future outdoor class.

2. Watch sports events.

Whenever we encounter major international and domestic sports events, we should carefully select the games that are related to teaching or can cultivate students' patriotism, and use the school's TV network to broadcast or replay them, especially some classic sports games and wonderful clips. While watching the game, think about problems, learn experience, master skills, and cultivate a positive outlook on life that loves the collective and the motherland. Moreover, let the students write down their own experiences and improve their sports knowledge and level while watching the game.

3. Indoor excellent courses: self-created indoor exercises, indoor games, except seat exercises-games-theories, and sports knowledge. We can also offer chess lessons. We can do this on special days, which is more effective than outdoor. Good theory is the foundation of practice, and it will play a very good role in the future practice class. There are many games suitable for indoor play. Teachers should consider the influence on other classes when choosing games. For example, simple bowling, accurate throwing and so on, as well as some traditional games, such as passing parcels, climbing ropes and catching children. Which content is more, I won't give examples one by one.

4. Indoor games

5. Chess activities For junior students who are beginners in chess, teachers can organize students to learn from each other and teach, and students with good chess skills can also assist teachers in teaching. Because most people in the class already know how to play chess, the teacher can organize a small chess match in a class.

6. Table tennis class:

2. Have classes in corridors and halls;

We can make use of the school corridor for PE teaching. Some teachers have specially studied and observed the "corridor class", which is a PE teaching and research activity in rainy days in physical education class. But it's too hot now, so we have to take a corridor class. But when you are in the corridor, you must consider whether it will affect other classes. If it doesn't affect, you can use corridors and steps to practice in groups; Such as corridor games, running across lanes, jumping steps, etc.

Third, set up a comprehensive course (half a theoretical class-half a practical class)

In this special weather, we might as well set up the first half of the theoretical class, and then set up the first half of the practical class, so that students can learn the theory, understand the technical essentials, master the action requirements and experience the rational action indoors. Then take the students to the first half of the practice class. This way, the effect is better and students can bear it. To tell the truth, this kind of high temperature is also a kind of high temperature training for students, and such a day is also a measure of students' physical quality, and their health is not easy to get heatstroke. I think proper practice is necessary.

Fourth, set up a small venue in the shade for class;

The newly-built teaching buildings are basically a hall on the first floor to meet the needs of some content classes. At the same time, we can also choose the shade of the teaching building to keep out the sun, and we can also use the shady and semi-shady places under the green trees on campus, as well as the cool places such as walls to carry out our teaching.

Our school has a 100 square meter hall. We might as well have classes in these cool places, and we can do physical exercises in the hall. Such as skipping rope, push-ups, squats, vertical jumps, etc. In this way, the students' bodies have been exercised without being exposed to the sun. We can try and kill two birds with one stone.

I don't think this weather will last long. As long as our PE teacher tries his best, we will certainly get through this difficult period.
