When is the best time to go to Huajian Mountain?

Generally speaking, May-June is the alternate period between dry season and rainy season. Because the temperature is high but there is not much rainfall during this time, it is not easy to have foggy weather, landslides or mudslides during this time, and it will be safer to travel outdoors.

Huajian Mountain is located in Heigou Village, Lengqi Town, Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, on the southeast side of Gongga Snow Mountain, adjacent to Erlang Mountain, and the same mountain as Niubei Mountain and Four People. It is an "excellent photography holy place". Because the top of the mountain protrudes upward and looks like a plow tip, it is affectionately called Huajian Mountain by the locals. Huajian Mountain runs east-west, with an altitude of 3,450 meters.

Huajian Mountain is similar to Niubei Mountain and closer to Gongga Snow Mountain. The sunrise here is equally spectacular. It takes 4 hours to reach the top of the mountain on foot, and the sea of clouds is endless. Clouds rise along the valley and overflow from the mountains on both sides, forming a spectacular waterfall.

Up to now, Huajian Mountain is inaccessible and few people know it. Only local herders walk on the mountainside. Huajian Mountain is an undeveloped scenic spot, and the accommodation conditions on the mountain and the top of the mountain are very difficult.
