In the 1980s, foreign backpackers began to hike here, and gradually inns began to serve simple meals. It is now a very mature hiking trail. 7. Laojun Mountain

Laojun Mountain is known as the ancestor of all mountains in Yunnan. It is said that Taishang Laojun once made elixir here, hence its name. Laojun Mountain is located 110 kilometers southwest of the ancient city of Lijiang, at the junction of Lanping and Jianchuan. The main peak is about 4,300 meters above sea level. 8. Wenbi Mountain

Wenbi Mountain and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain surround Lijiang Bazi in the south and north. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is famous for its natural landscape, while Wenbi Mountain is famous for its cultural landscape. 9. Baisha Ancient Town

Baisha Ancient Town is the oldest ancient town in Lijiang. It is located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is the earliest settlement of the Naxi ancestors after they entered the Lijiang Basin. It is the earliest settlement of the Naxi culture. The birthplace was the political and religious center of Lijiang before the Song and Yuan Dynasties.
