Introduction of Longyan Dragon Cave.
Longjing Cave, located in the southern section of Wuyi Mountain, is located in Longkang Village, Yanshi Town, xinluo district, 48 kilometers away from the urban area, and it is directly connected to the "Best Tourist Highway in Fujian". It is a karst landform with a long history. According to research, this cave was formed in Paleozoic 300 million years ago. It was originally a sea of Wang Yang, which evolved intermittently after three crustal movements. It is one of the largest caves in China and a key scenic spot in Fujian Province.
This cave was discovered as early as the Tang Dynasty, and tourists came here to explore wonders and visit the victories of past dynasties. Up to now, the proven area of Longjiao Cave has reached 54,000 square meters, which is divided into upper, middle and lower floors. There are two corridors, eight halls, sixteen caves, sixty-four views and more than three thousand meters of sightseeing, and the space is spacious. There is a mountain in the cave, and there is a hole in the mountain; There is water in the cave, sometimes hidden and sometimes present; The holes are connected with each other, and the holes are covered with holes, which are layered and zigzag. Stalactites of different sizes are virtual and real. It can be said that there are all kinds of stalactites in the world, and fruits and rice are fragrant.
The mouth of the cave is located in a ravine, surrounded by rugged rocks and dense trees. Above the cave, three elegant and smart Chinese characters inscribed by Mr. Liu Yi, former director of the National Tourism Administration, are impressive. There is a "Sanxian Cave" at the mouth of the cave that can accommodate dozens of people. Looking up at the top wall, there are some vague handwriting, which is said to be the remains of some patriotic anti-Japanese people in Taiwan Province Province during the Anti-Japanese War, adding a trace of history to this natural cave. There is a "Three Immortals Gate" in front of the "Sanxian Cave", and three gates are juxtaposed, with the happiness gate on the left, the peace gate in the middle and the wealth gate on the right. As the saying goes, peace is a blessing. I can't wait to get through the security door. I looked up and saw a flat and open place on the right stone wall, like a big bed. There is a stone pillow on the bed, which is called "fairy bed". It is said that lying in bed can ensure a long and safe life.
Walking along the cobblestone path is the "first sight" of many scenic spots. However, this "first sight" is a bit magical. Looking up, I can't see the sky, and I can't see a ray of sunshine. I only see a toothed mask with mist refracting light. The whole cave is full of gaps in lighting and ventilation, which adds to the mysterious atmosphere in the cave. Further on, it presents a picture of the rising sun, which is magnificent and refreshing.
Amazing, I turned to the big hole of the first hole "Guanyin Cave". At the foot is an open and layered "fairy platform", and the water in the field is choppy and never dries up; The ridges of the fields are winding and the steps are clear, reflecting the red sun and white clouds, which makes people think. At the end of the field, there is a lying stone, which looks like two cows, one big and one small, lying in a clear water, resting on each other. A stalactite Guanyin, wrapped in white, stands tall and elegant.
Entering the "Three Immortals Gate", passing through the "Immortal Bed" and leaving the "Immortal Field", "Three Immortals on the Road" and "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" came face to face. With fairy-like scenery and fascinating myths and legends, the mysterious Dragon Cave is even more fairy-like, and it deserves to be called Fairy Palace Cave.
The "Dragon Umbrella" wonders went out of the second hole and headed for the third hole. On the way, I saw a mushroom-shaped stone umbrella covered with gold and stalactites. This is the well-known "dragon umbrella". People say that if you drill a drill around it or touch it, you will be safe and happy, so it is also called "dragon umbrella". "Dragon Umbrella" has become a great spectacle and symbolic landscape of Longjiao Cave. As for its origin, it is still a mystery, attracting many geologists to visit here.
In Longzhong Cave, there are many stone scenes named after dragons and snakes, such as a "white dragon", which is condensed by limestone at the top of the stone wall in the cave. The dragon is long, showing its teeth and flying in the air, which is very realistic.
The Dragon Cave in Longkang Village, where dragons, snakes and umbrellas dance together to protect the body, echoes Longjing, Longdanshi, Longxu Waterfall and longtan lake, and is rich in dragon culture. From this epiphany, the reason why it is called Longjiao Cave is that the cover originated from this.
Swimming in the cave is like entering the Dragon Palace. Everything you see and hear is related to the "dragon".
Swimming in a cave is like walking in a painting. Strange and gorgeous stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers, stone curtains and stone basins are well developed and abound, with fantastic craftsmanship and myriad manners. Swimming in the cave, you can see the water column spewing high, and you can see the water drops falling bit by bit; You can listen to the water and play in the pool. It is difficult to find water in the underground river that passes through the hole, sometimes not smelling, sometimes not smelling; When you gather and disperse, you can't see the sun all year round, and the tides are irregular and changeable. With water, the lonely ancient cave has a little more vitality and interest. This is also a rare cave wonder in the world. As the saying goes, "mountains are born of water, and caves are strange because of water."
Vilen came to the exit of the cave, which is an underground river exit. Abandoning the shore, boarding the boat, paddling endlessly and rocking the boat out of the hole are also the characteristics of the swimming hole where land enters and exits Longdong. Out of the cave, suddenly enlightened, a piece of lakes and mountains jumped into the eye, only to realize the romantic magic of the legendary "one day in the sky, a thousand years on earth"
Longtan lake flowing out of the cave is particularly cold; Fish swim in the lake and enjoy the mountain scenery reflected in the water. Surrounded by mountains, pine trees are tall and straight, bamboo is dense, and the sea of clouds is misty; There are countless hundred-year-old trees, which are spectacular. Wanzhu Park, ancient forests, gurgling streams and pavilions with red tiles and white walls are dotted with beautiful scenery.
In autumn, the century-old osmanthus is in full bloom, and the fragrance floats in the valley; Maple forest is dyed, the color can be red, and bamboo is trimmed by green, red and green, which is spectacular. The red leaves of the dragon are hard to find; Yuan Ye has beautiful scenery.
There are many caves in Fujian, with rich landscape and humanistic landscape, especially Longzhong Cave in Longyan, which has many reputations such as "House of Fairy Cave, Natural Maze", "First Cave in East China" and "Guilin in Cave".
In order to know more about this cave, I attach a guidebook to you:
Tour Guide Words in Longjidong Scenic Area (Excerpt)
Longdong is a provincial-level scenic spot in Fujian Province and one of the core scenic spots in Longyan National Forest Park. The scenic area is 10 square kilometer, which is a vilen-type karst mountain forest scenic spot. At present, about 1000 scenic caves have been opened in the world, and 278 caves have been opened in China. According to the research of national cave experts, Longji Cave is one of the largest caves in China and one of the best protected caves in China. There are 8 halls in the cave, 16 branches. The most amazing thing is that there is a dragon umbrella in the cave, which is unique in China and only two in the world.
Please look up. There is a line of red calligraphy on the stone wall of the mouth of the cave, which reads: "Youth League of the Three People's Principles directly under the Central Committee,1944,65438+February". According to the research of experts such as Wang Yifu, a famous scholar in Taiwan Province Province and former vice governor of Fujian Province, this handwriting is related to the volunteers of Taiwan Province Province who were active in western Fujian during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. Taiwan Province Volunteer Army was an anti-Japanese armed force composed of Taiwan Province compatriots living in the mainland during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. 1939 1 was established, including Taiwan Province compatriots from Fujian, Zhejiang, Anhui and other provinces, with a total number of 38 1. Volunteers in Taiwan Province Province mainly carried out propaganda and agitation, carried out political work against the enemy, that is, they shouted to Japanese troops and Japanese soldiers from Taiwan Province in Japanese and Minnan, collected information about the enemy and puppet troops, participated in interrogating prisoners, opened up battlefield medical care and attacked the enemy. Volunteers from Taiwan Province Province moved to Zhejiang and Fujian, and moved to Longyan 1942+00 in June. These handwriting were left by the captain of Chen Weifen District when he led seven team members to visit Longjiao Cave. One of them, Zhang Shide, raised the first Kuomintang party flag in Taiwan Province Province after recovering Taiwan Province in August 1945.
There is also a remnant inscription here, which is a tourist inscription of Chongzhen 17 in Ming Dynasty, namely 1644.
The first thing you see is Sanxianmen. According to legend, a long time ago, three immortals, Fuxing, Shouxing and Caishen, came here together in three white elephants. With their divine power, they opened three caves and named them "Happiness Gate, Peace Gate and Auspicious Gate". Friends, which door do you want to take? A writer said that this is the door of time. When you enter this door, you enter the time and space 300 million years ago.
Please look at the "Dragon Bed" on the right. The stone curtain hanging from left to right is like a mosquito net, with a pillow protruding in the middle. Looking back, this is a sea flower, which is formed by the accumulation of travertine after the evaporation and crystallization of calcium carbonate water infiltrated from the cracks in the rock wall. Because it looks like a flower, it is called a stone flower in geology. There is also a cow next to it. This is the nose, horns and eyes of a cow.
Ok, please go forward. Please look at the reverse side. This is "Gaoxia Waterfall". You can see a stream of water pouring down from the top of the cave. Look, there is also a pair of immortals dancing here. The man's chest is broad, his steps are vigorous, and the woman's head is attached to the ceiling and she is wearing a skirt. Some people say that they are dancing "waltz" with the beautiful melody of mountains and streams. Geologically speaking, these two landscapes are formed by limestone infiltration of calcium carbonate water in the cave wall. Please look up. There are two tengu at the top of the cave. Legend has it that they are the pets of fairies. They seem to be dancing, too There are three elephants in Longdong, which are the mounts of three immortals: Fu, Lu and Shou. Look, this is a little white elephant. It is shaking its feet as if nodding to us. So where are the other two elephants?
These are two other elephants. Ask the guests to judge who is the master. The head with drooping nose and huge body should be the seat of the god of wealth, and the head with open eyes should be the seat of the birthday boy. The little white elephant mentioned just now is the location of the revival.
Please look up, there is an eagle spreading its wings on the cliff, which shows that a kind of natural light from the outside refracts in from the top of the cave, forming a spectacle of "sight", which is the only natural light in the cave.
This is an underground river that runs through the whole cave. If it is looming, it will gather and disperse. Longzhong cave is divided into upper, middle and lower layers, which are stacked one after another. There is a mountain in the cave, and there is a hole in the mountain. The underground river in the cave runs through the whole cave.
According to Longyan County Records, Longdong was discovered as early as the Tang Dynasty. What is left is the inscription of Ming and Qing Dynasties. People used to come in with torches. It used to be a small hole, and people could only get into it to reach the next scenic spot. Once two educated youths from Xiamen went in curiously and got lost. Six days later, they were found and rescued by local farmers.
Now we are in the Dragon Palace. It is the largest hall in Longjiao Cave, which can accommodate thousands of people and is divided into two halls, front and back. This is its front hall. The first thing you see is the water column pouring down from the top of the cave. This water column, regardless of the external drought and flood, has remained unchanged for many years. It's called "dragon spits water" As the saying goes, a dragon gives birth to nine children, and nine children are different. It is said that Xiao Heilong, the son of the Dragon King of the East China Sea, was arrested by the Dragon King and returned to the government. It coincides with the drought in Longyan, and the punishment here will make amends and spit water all the year round. Because these two landscapes are very realistic, many tourists think they are artificially made. In fact, "fairy field" is called cloud basin in geology. The formation of water column is because there is a lot of water at the intersection of stalactites and cave tops, which leads to stalactites being broken. Through the water column, we can see a dog lying on the rock, head and tail clearly distinguishable, and a cat dragging its tail to play with it, just like a picture of a civet cat playing with a dog. Please look to the right. The whole cave wall is like a relief mural painted by a master painter. There are mountains, rivers, trees and jungles in the painting. Look, there is a beautiful woman enjoying a forest bath on the high mountain. It is said that tourists who can find beautiful women in paintings will definitely have suitable couples. Therefore, this painting is also called "Marriage Map".
Looking back, a red sun is rising in Ran Ran among the peaks, and it is called "the rising sun rises", which is actually the poetic expression of General Secretary Jiang's "the sun is breaking clouds and waves". Look at the reflection in the water. The mountains are like dreams, and the clear water is full of affection. People call Longji Cave Guilin in the Cave, which means the beautiful lakes and mountains in this cave. As the saying goes, if you change the scenery, please change your perspective and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dragon Palace.
Look, this is "playing with water". Daniel showed his big back and the calf was lying on the ground. Obviously, the tired cattle are resting. Please look across the street. What does it look like? This is an inverted magnolia flower. In fact, it is a kind of stalactite. Geologically, it is called stalactite hanging from the ceiling and growing from top to bottom. * * * There are three forms: water column, stalactite and hanging lamp. Relatively speaking, this kind of stalagmite growing upward from the ground is called "stalagmite", and its shapes are columnar, tower, bamboo shoot and lotus root. The Daniel we visited just now is a stalagmite with lotus roots. You see, the magnolia is growing downwards, and the stalagmites are growing upwards, 20 cm longer every 10,000 years, and finally connected together. When stalactites are connected with stalagmites, they are also called stone pillars in geology.
The cave is composed of stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars, and its peculiar origin has become a geological mystery. Climb in through the small hole next to the melon garden. There are many inclined stalagmites in it, and the origin is extremely strange. There is also a stone clock in the cave, which is made of travertine and makes a hollow sound when struck. Although these two landscapes have not yet been developed, they are two treasures of Longzhong Cave.
Look, everyone, what does this look like? It is a welcome lion, as if to say welcome to everyone.
Look at the three stalagmites opposite, just like Fu, Lu and Shou are talking about immortal Taoism, which is called "Three Immortals on Taoism". In addition, a picture of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" is faintly visible on it. This is a crystal pond. There seem to be many shrimps on the top of the pond. There is a turtle hanging upside down, as if looking at the mirror in front of the water, and as if peeking at the elixir on the alchemy furnace of Taishang Laojun. Please look at the reverse side. The blazing fire is the alchemy furnace of Taishang Laojun, and the white light next to it is Taishang Laojun. There is an underground river under crystal pool, as we have seen before. This underground river can't see the sun all the year round, but there is a very strange phenomenon that the river will rise from time to time. It is said that people who can see the high tide can have good luck. What caused the climax? According to geologists' inference, it may be that some previously unconnected water-bearing cave walls in the upper layer of crystal pool gradually moved closer to crystal pool or Pinghu Cave due to corrosion. When the isolation layer is too thin, the water pressure will break through the cave wall, and the water in the upper layer of crystal pool will leak into Pinghu Cave, resulting in high tide. At present, geologists are doing further research to solve the mystery of high tide. This mystery is also a difficult problem in the study of caves in the world, which makes Longjiao Cave occupy an important position in the world caves. Along the upper reaches of the underground river is the newly discovered Pinghu Cave, which consists of Shiyan Cave, Crystal Palace and Fairy Quarry. In the future, we will store water here for tourists to row boats and visit Pinghu Cave.
This is the back hall of the Dragon Palace. Look at the landscape composed of these stone pillars and stalagmites. It goes without saying that the Dragon King wears a yellow robe at the top of the cave. It is said that there was a drought in this area many years ago. The people came to Longjiao Cave to pray for rain, and their sincerity touched the Dragon King and Guanyin. At the same time, they showed spirit. The dragon king told the little black dragon to sow clouds and rain all the year round, and sent their son to Guanyin to show mercy and bless the people.
This is a thousand-year-old banyan tree, weather-beaten, leafy and antique. Dear friends, please pay attention to appreciate the reflection in this water and find the poetry in your heart. Look carefully, the water in the lake will get deeper and deeper. Longjing Cave is rich in groundwater resources, which is not only beneficial to the development of stalactites, but also beneficial to the development of many new tourism projects. Please pay attention to safety when walking under the banyan tree.
The stone pillar in front of us is called "Optimus Prime" and the mountain at the bottom of the pillar is called "Buzhoushan". According to legend, * * * workers and beards fought for the world, and * * * workers were so angry that they knocked down Zhoushan, broke Tianzhu and made a big hole in the sky. Later, Nu Wa chose the most beautiful 365 colored stones in the world to fill the sky. You see, there are traces left by Nu Wa. This is the "pagoda sunrise". Seen from a distance, the stalagmite above looks like a pagoda standing on the top of the mountain, and the red light is sunrise.
According to scientific research, 300 million years ago, this sea area was the sea of Wang Yang. Ancient caves have been washed away by seawater all the year round, and after three crustal movements, such wonders have been formed today. Looking up, these colorful and regular lines are the traces left by the seawater erosion in those years. Because these traces are very similar to cloth brocade, geologically speaking, these stones are called cloth sail stones, so people also call them cloth sail holes. The cloth sail stone in Longjiao Cave is particularly wide and flat, with neat and beautiful lines, which is rare in the cave.
Please have a look. What does it look like? This is a toad. As the saying goes, toads want to eat swan meat, but swans can't. Toad ate all the mosquitoes in the cave in a rage, so there were no mosquitoes in the cave all year round.
Ok, please follow me. The Monkey King, sharp-tongued and black-eyed, is colliding with the rock wall, which is called "the Monkey King hitting the wall". Legend has it that the Monkey King killed Bai, who became a mortal, and Tang Priest read a spell. The Monkey King had a bad headache and ran straight into the wall, scaring all the goldfish out of the sea. Look, that's a goldfish, that's a fin and that's a tail.
Looking back, this is a stone carrying coal. The white stone around is a boat, and the black one above is coal. Longyan is a big coal-producing city in Fujian, and its reserves rank second in the province. This stone ship is carrying coal. According to geological research, "stone boat" is a limestone model left by cave bottom dissolution, while "coal" is a debris deposit deposited by underground river.
The mountain in front of us is called fox hill. Look, this is the fox's head, that is its sharp mouth and erect ears, and there are a group of little foxes beside it. As the saying goes, no sly fox can hide his tail. You might as well look for it. Where is its tail?
This is Shi Wa, squatting on a boulder with bulging lips.
Please look this way. It's more like a weather forecast map, with a thunderstorm area in the middle.
Longyan people named this dragon as Longjiao Cave. Please look up. The dragon's dragon head is clearly identifiable, and its body extends to the whole ceiling of the cave. So where is the dragon's tail? This is a dragon without a tail. Because of this faucet, this cave is called Tenglong Cave by local people. In the 1970s, villagers in Longgang Village outside Longlong Cave showed a film "Red Guards in Jianghu" here, and the sound effect reached a wonderful level.
The accumulation of cave roof collapse is also one of the main reasons for the landscape. Look, this is a "dove of peace", that is its head and that is its wings. According to experts' analysis, "dove of peace", the Monkey King and toad are all limestone blocks with sunken ceilings.
Agricultural Dazhai. This was left after villagers went into the cave to collect phosphate fertilizer, hold meetings and watch movies in the 1960s and 1970s. Longdong was discovered in the Tang Dynasty, and also in the suburbs. Silla was located in Kucao Town of Tang Dynasty, which was subordinate to Zhangzhou Prefecture. During the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, local literati discovered the Dragon Cave and the Dragon Cave. Because of the magical dragon shape in the two caves, Baiyue people lived here before they came to this area from the Han people. They worshipped snakes as totems, while the Han people in the Central Plains worshipped dragons as totems. After the discovery of Longyandong Cave and Longyandong Cave, local officials wrote to Tang, demanding that Silla County be renamed Longyan County at that time, and Tang wrote an imperial edict to change Silla County into Longyan County. It is said that it was drafted by Li Bai, a college student. This is the origin of Longyan place names. The Han people who came here to start a business migrated from Luoshui, a tributary of the Yellow River in the Central Plains. Academics call them Heluo people. They explained the dragon culture to Baiyue people, and the dragon culture spread to southern Fujian and Southeast Asian countries along the Jiulong River and the lower reaches of the river. Therefore, according to the speculation of relevant scholars, this is the birthplace of Nanlong culture.
This is a wild goose. It turned out to be a pair of mandarin ducks and geese in the middle of the river in Yanshi Town. According to legend, a long time ago, there was a ferry village near the Jiulong River, 20 kilometers away from the mouth of the cave, where locusts were infested. After the locusts in Dukou Village were eliminated, a male goose was invited to Longlong Cave to help Hailongwang eliminate locusts. In order to completely help the sea dragon king eliminate locusts, this male goose has been waiting for the dragon king. To commemorate these two geese, people changed Dukou Village to Yanshi Town.
Please look back, this place is known as "Night in Mountain City". The crooked rock in front of me is Drunken Eight Immortals. It is said that the Eight Immortals crossed the ocean to show their magical power and alarmed the Dragon King. The Dragon King specially hosted a banquet here to entertain them. The Eight Immortals are so happy. At the moment, they are all drunk. Only Tie Guai Li is a little sober. My flashlight is Tie Guai Li. He seems to be meditating.
Please look this way. This is a fierce crocodile. It is protecting this natural mural. Everyone imagines the meaning to be expressed in the painting, and some people say that it is Li Bai's drunken painting. The imperial edict that Kucao Town was renamed Longyan is said to have been drafted by Li Bai. Later, Li Bai offended Yang Yuhuan. After being expelled from Chang 'an, Li Bai often drunk and wrote songs. The Dragon King of Longdong felt that he had made great contributions by changing his name to Longyan, and specially carved Li Bai's drunken picture here as a souvenir. In fact, what I want to explain to my friends here is that, geologically speaking, these are massage stone scenes, which are the most scientifically valuable rock scenes in karst caves. It is because the color of siliceous nodules and limestone is darker than that of limestone after being abraded by underground river, and their color difference makes different rocks present beautiful natural rock paintings in weak light, forming the scene of massage stones.
Please look up. This is Erlang God. As the saying goes, "there is a sky outside, and there are people outside." The Monkey King made a scene in the Heavenly Palace and stole the flat peach of the Queen Mother. Just in case, the Queen Mother invited the 73-year-old Erlang God to turn into a puppy to guard this avenue and take care of the flat peach garden.
This is a horse's head, guests. Feel it with your hands I believe it will bless you, Ma Chenggong.
We are now in the snake cave, opposite the flat peach garden of the Queen Mother. The green light outside the flat peach garden shines on the green snake. So, where did the white snake go? Oh, the white snake was crushed under the Leifeng Tower. Looking to the right, the green light shines on the Leifeng Tower, next to the monk Fahai and his golden bowl.
This ingenious snake cave is unique in the Dragon Bell Cave. Green Snake, Leifeng Pagoda, Jinbo and Fahai Lake are all stalagmites. Together, the two are naturally reminiscent of the legend of the white snake, with strong rock landscaping, which is another major feature of Longzhong Cave.
Looking up, there is a peacock here. This is its tail and neck. The way it reaches the top of the cave to drink water is called "peacock drinking water".
Please look down again. It's "Snow Mountain Flowing Water", which is the deposition of limestone flowers along the cave wall, shining and looking very realistic under the light.
Here, I want to introduce to my friends that our ancestors once lived in caves. Then, as a natural fairy cave, Longjiao Cave was once inhabited. In fact, the Fujian Provincial Archaeological Team came to Longjiao Cave in 1988 and collected it from 2000 to 3000 years ago, that is, during the Shang, Zhou, Qin and Han Dynasties, it was already inhabited. Who lives here? That's the local Baiyue people. Subsequently, due to the remoteness and mystery in the cave, with the death of local Baiyue people or their emigration, occasionally a few villagers (Heluo people who migrated from the Central Plains) enter the cave to collect stone beads, grind them into powder to make gunpowder, or collect animal manure as fertilizer, which is almost isolated from the world. In the Tang Dynasty, people discovered the magical Dragon Cave. More than 360 years ago, someone came during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, and the Taiping Army of the Qing Dynasty also came. In the1940s, volunteers from Taiwan Province province visited it.
What needs to be explained here is that there is a small hole behind the Leifeng Tower, and the newly discovered "Santan Cave" is about 30 meters deep. Stalagmites stand upright in this cave, and stalactites are densely covered. The cave is about 50 meters high, and the stalactites on the wall are as white as jade, like a spewing Yuquan flying down to the bottom of the cave. Santandong is the best preserved scenic spot, where stalactites are found. Once developed, the prospect is considerable.
Needless to say, this is the stone clock. It is 3m high and1.5m wide. As the saying goes, "wooden fish hit the clock." Legend has it that wooden fish and platinum clock are used by the dragon king of the Dragon Palace when praying for rain. At that time, the dragon king and the people burned incense and prayed for rain, which sincerely attracted the Guanyin messenger to appear. After a while, drums and music sounded, the Dragon King exerted great power, and the wooden fish made of stone also rang the stone clock.
This is a "bottomless pit", spiraling downward, and the flashlight shines unfathomably. The bottom of the cave is estimated to be the third world of Longjiao Cave. Longjiao Cave experienced three large crustal intermittent uplifts during its formation, and three layers of karst caves developed accordingly. The holes are connected by vertical shafts and inclined holes to form a tortuous three-dimensional network.
Now we're going to the front to find the dragon tail. Longjiao Cave, with a total area of 54,000 square meters, is a maze-like cave. The spacious place here can accommodate thousands of troops, and the narrow place can only be crossed by one person.
I don't know if everyone is hungry, but here is a corn cob, which is very vivid.
This is the dragon tail we are looking for. This shows that this dragon is long enough to penetrate the whole hole. Before the development, tourists came in with torches. When they come out of caves, they often knock down stalactites and stalagmites and go home to make rockeries and bonsai, leaving this scarred stalactite to future generations. I wonder how these people will feel when they come again. How to protect resources? This is really a problem that everyone should care about.
The front is a gantry made of stalactites. We can visit the Jade Cave from Longmen.
When you probe in from here, you can see that there are countless holes in the big hole, just like an underground maze, called a maze. And because it vividly shows the characteristics of Longdong cave nest and cave overlap. Therefore, it is also called "mini-dragon cave".
Looking up, this is "sheep walking on the wall", and a sheep is crawling on the top of the cave.
Stalactites and stalagmites under the sheep crisscross, forming a "Dragon and Phoenix Pavilion". This Dragon and Phoenix Pavilion has a strange nickname "Who dares not bow their heads", but who is not awed by the uncanny workmanship of nature? Please be very careful when you pass the pavilion.
This inclined stalagmite is Tie Guai Li's crutch. When Tie Guai Li visited Longjiao Cave, he was very happy to leave his crutches here. In fact, this is a rare stalagmite, which is formed by migration and dripping from the ceiling for many years. Looking up, there are Tie Guai Li's cassocks in this vertical cave.
This road is where snail girl lives. This is an adventurous place. You have to climb two steep slopes to see Snail Girl and her lover wax gourd.
According to legend, there is a snail girl who looks cute and has endless pursuers, but she just likes a young man named Winter Melon and often turns into a snail girl and secretly goes to Winter Melon's house to wash clothes and cook for him. The sea dragon king was moved by their pure love and emotion, and specially gave them this cave to live in. The couple live a fairy tale life here, with kindness and love. Day after day, year after year, their souls become immortals, and their bodies stay here and become fossils. This is the wax gourd and snail we see. And the snail girl's "door of life".
Look, this is Wuzhishan, and the Monkey King is pressing down at the foot of the mountain. He is looking at the dove of peace, as if telling his wish to get out of prison as soon as possible. On the right there is a giant statue of God, which was sent by the Tathagata to protect the Monkey King.
What is presented to us now is the dragon umbrella, a great wonder of Longjiao Cave. This umbrella is covered with brocade and stalactites. The origin of the dragon umbrella is still a geological mystery. In recent years, many experts have come here to investigate, but they have not made a convincing explanation. This dragon umbrella is the only one in China, and there is one in France abroad, but it is not as round as this one and its diameter is smaller than this one. Geologists have determined that the radius difference between the dragon umbrella and the umbrella is less than 2 cm. So this dragon umbrella is the treasure of Longdong Town. It is said: "Touch the dragon umbrella with your hand, and you will be lucky all your life." .
Dear friends, Longdong occupies an important position in the geological field because of the formation of dragon umbrellas and crutches and the mystery of irregular high tide in underground rivers.
Look, here is a Fujian turtle, a thousand buddhas. It looked at us with wide eyes, as if to say: goodbye, welcome to come again next time.
Dear friends, the fugue in Longzhong Cave is coming to an end. Through the stalactite doorway in front of us, we went out along the underground river. After visiting this maze of fairyland on earth, I wonder what you think? Zhang Jiakun, the former vice governor of Fujian Province, called it "the first cave in East China". 199 1 year, more than 30 experts agree that Longjiao Cave is one of the largest caves in China.
