You can also go up the mountain on the first afternoon, stay at Banshanting Hotel, go up the mountain in the early morning, or stay at the Dawn Hotel at the top of the mountain (the only hotel on the top of the mountain is expensive), and get up around 5 o'clock.

Necessary items for mountaineering: water, food and clothes to satisfy hunger. The temperature on the mountain is 6℃ lower, and it is foggy in rainy days.

When going down the mountain, it is generally not recommended to go to the Sutra Pavilion. Going down the mountain from Xiling is 4 kilometers away from the main road, and the traffic is inconvenient.

If you go straight up the mountain and then down the mountain, you can take the same free bus at the exit to the bus station and get off at Nanyue Hengshan archway. The bus stop is 5 meters on the right.

Note: Generally, Mount Hengshan in Nanyue refers to Zhurongfeng in Nanyue District and the scenic spots at the foot of the mountain. Nanyue and Hengshan are two places, Nanyue District and Hengshan County, which are 14 miles apart.
