The occurrence of smog is caused by the superposition of multiple factors, from inversion weather, coal pollution, dust pollution to dust generated by boiler fire. The increase of air pollutant emissions and the cold climate are the internal causes of smog weather in Northeast China.

3. Entering the heating season, coal-fired heating is the second cause of smog in Northeast China. According to past experience, the time when air pollution is most likely to occur during the heating period should be concentrated in late winter, but the early arrival of this year is unpredictable.

4. The repeated prohibition of straw burning in spring and autumn is also an important factor causing haze weather.
