The difference between SOE and ordinary remote signaling messages

Remote signaling: Passive contact mode is required, that is, the input of a certain remote signaling quantity should be a pair of relay contacts, either closed or disconnected. The closing or opening of the relay contact is converted into a low-level or high-level signal through the remote signaling terminal board and sent to the YX module of the RTU. The remote signaling function is usually used to measure the following signals, switch position signal, transformer internal fault comprehensive signal, protection device action signal, communication equipment operating status signal, voltage regulating transformer tap position signal. The operating status signal of the automatic adjustment device and other signals that can be output in the form of relays; the overall accident signal and the main power outage signal of the device, etc.

SOE record is the sequence of events record. When the power equipment undergoes remote signaling displacement such as switch displacement, the power protection equipment or smart power meter will automatically record the displacement time, displacement cause, and switch tripping time. The corresponding remote measurement values ??(such as the corresponding three-phase current, active power, etc.) form an SOE record to facilitate subsequent analysis. Many relay protection equipment and smart power meters, such as power protection meters and special power RTU equipment from GE Power, Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens and other manufacturers, all have SOE recording functions.
