The Natural Environment of Youganpu Village

The overall terrain of Youganbao is high in the north and south and low in the middle. The south and north are basically mountains and woodlands. Relatively flat areas are concentrated in the central area, which is easy to develop and construct. This is the place where the construction land of Youganpu is concentrated, and the greening of trees has created a beautiful environment for the construction of the whole village.

The first is the mountains.

Youganpu Village is surrounded by mountains, with Eagle Mountain in the east, Tiger Mountain in the south, Opposite Mountain in the west and Shiling Mountain in the north. In the middle is a flat land in the shape of a small basin. Among these four hills, Tiger Mountain is the most famous, with an altitude of 1.32 meters, so it is named after its shape of crouching tiger. The highest mountain in the village is "Eagle Mouth Mountain", with an altitude of187m. The rest of the mountains are about 100 meters above sea level.

Second, the stream

In ancient times, villagers called this section of the river flowing through Youganpu "Golden Hook River". Originated in Yantian Changbiao, it crosses Youganpu, flows through Li Tang, Zhutang, Tangxia and Qiaotou, flows into Dongjiang, and goes to sea from the Pearl River Estuary. According to Chen's Dongguan County Records, the water system from Fenggang Yantian to Qiaotou is called Jiujiang Water, later called Shima River. There are two streams in the jurisdiction of Youganbao Village, one is called Zhuzaili and the other is called Hengli, which meet at Gelikou and flow into Jingou River.

In 2005, the town government began to build sewage outlets on both sides of the river to intercept sewage to Zhutang Sewage Treatment Plant. Located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, Youganbao has a subtropical climate, with hot summer and cool autumn, rainy summer and autumn, many typhoons in winter and spring, and a cold climate.

First, the temperature

Third, precipitation

According to the records, 1983 has more rainfall, with an annual rainfall of 23 19.5 mm, while 1963 has less rainfall, only 706.3 mm. The average annual rainfall is about1800 mm.
