The colder the weather, the drier the cold air?

The colder the weather, the less dry the air may be. Temperature and humidity are not necessarily related, and there is no "direct ratio" relationship. There is an illusion that the colder the weather, the drier it is, because there is generally little rain (dryness) in winter (cold) in the north. Imagine how cold it would be if it snowed heavily and then the northwest wind blew! But it's not dry yet.
