Is the ten-day weather forecast accurate?

Short-term forecasting is the most accurate. According to the radar and satellite detection data, the local severe storm system is monitored on the spot to predict its future movement of 1-6 hours.

The forecast for the next 3- 15 days mainly includes what kind of weather process is affected, whether there will be disastrous weather and the main weather change trend.

Trend method is to estimate the future position and intensity of various weather systems according to their past moving paths and intensity change trends on the weather map. This method is effective when the movement and intensity of the weather system do not suddenly change, or when the weather system does not regenerate or die. However, when it suddenly changes or the weather system is alive or dead, the forecast is often not realistic.

As the saying goes, the weather forecast for the next 15 days can only be a trend forecast, and the accuracy depends on the weather forecast for that day.
