rainstorm

Theodore Rotteck

1

Against the stone breakwater,

Only the ominous flapping sound,

When the wind howled overhead,

Come down from the mountain,

Whistle between trees and winding terraces;

The thin purring of wires, the creaking and flapping of leaves,

The street lamp swayed and slammed violently.

Light pole

Where did everyone go?

There is a lamp on the hill.

Along the seawall, the swaying waves,

The waves are not high, but they are even.

Getting closer and closer to each other;

A rain and fog blowing from the sea,

Screen the sand, like a large-scale lead shot spray,

The wind on the sea is competing with the wind on the mountain.

Throw the foam in the white waves up into the darkness.

Time to go home! -

A child's dirty clothes rolled out of an alley,

A cat runs in the wind like us,

Among the white trees, in Saint Lucia,

The heavy door opened,

Our breathing becomes easier.

Then there was a thunderbolt, and black rain flowed over us, and it was over.

Flat-topped house, a gust of wind blowing down, banging.

Walls, slatted windows, driving

The last watchman in the room moved the players closer.

Here's to their cards, their fennel wine.

We climbed to our bed and its straw mat.

We wait; We listen.

The storm subsided and then doubled,

Bend the tree halfway to the ground,

Shake off the last batch of dried oranges in the orchard,

Flatten soft carnations.

A spider climbed down from the shaking light bulb.

Run over the bedspread and get under the iron bed frame.

The light bulb flickered faintly.

The water roared into the reservoir.

We lay on rough pillows,

Breathing heavily, hoping-

The last leap of the waves over the breakwater,

The towering waves beat against the beach,

The sudden trembling when the protruding sea cliff collapses,

The hurricane drove the dead straw into the living pine trees.

snowstorm

Ralph Waldo Emerson

The horn of the sky announced,

It's snowing, driving in the fields,

There seems to be nowhere to fall: white air.

Hidden hills, Woods, rivers and paradise,

Cover the farmhouse at the end of the garden.

The sled and traveler stopped, and the messenger's feet

Delayed, all friends were turned away, and roommates sat.

Around the radiant fireplace, closed

In the noise of the storm.

Let's look at the masons in the north wind.

From a quarry that will never be seen.

Equipped with tiles, intense craftsmen

Bend his white fortress with a protruding roof.

Around every windward stump, tree, or door.

Speeding, helpless, he works like crazy.

So whimsical and so savage, he didn't care.

Quantity or proportion. Mockingly,

On the chicken coop or kennel, he hangs a garland of Paris;

The swan-like body is wrapped in hidden thorns;

Filled farmers' alleys,

The sigh of farmers; At the gate,

There is a conical tower above the work.

When his days are numbered, the world

It's his own, retired, he's not,

When the sun appeared, the leaves amazed art.

Imitate the slow structure stone by stone,

Built in an era when crazy winds work at night,

Buildings frolicking in the snow.

A storm at night

Jennifer Stanley

Lighting appears in the form of flashes.

Thunder rumbled.

The wind howls like a wolf at night.

The rain fell like a roar of fear.

This is the sacred voice of a stormy night.

They are mixed together as if they were bitten by a werewolf.

They will frighten a superstitious person to death.

This is the sacred sound of the storm at night.

water

Water, water everywhere, water everywhere,

Water in the ocean, water in the ground.

The water in the river, the water in the stream,

The faucet leaks!

Water in fountains, water in lakes,

The water spent at the dawn of the day.

The water in the waterfall, rushing down from a height,

Water in dark clouds, rain in the sky.

Boiling water, frozen ice,

The water in the blue lagoon is clean, clear and beautiful.

Water in the fire, spouting from the water pipe,

There is water in the garden, so every flower grows.

Water for animals swimming in the sea,

Water, water for you and me everywhere!

rain

(Singing "It won't rain again, it won't rain again")

There will be more rain,

There will be more rain!

When the water drops begin to pour,

It will rain harder and harder!

Why do water droplets pour?

Water droplets pour?

The clouds can't hold them anymore,

This is why the water drops pour!

There will be more rain,

There will be more rain!

When the water drops begin to pour,

It will rain harder and harder!

rainbow

(Singing "There is a hole in the bucket")

There is an arc in the rainbow,

So beautiful, so beautiful,

There is an arc in the rainbow,

Use the colors you see.

The sun after the rain

Make colors, colors.

The sun after the rain

Will produce the color you see.

There are red and orange.

Yellow is so beautiful.

There are red and orange.

What you see is yellow.

There are green and blue.

Violet is really beautiful.

There are green and blue.

What you see is violet.

There is an arc in the rainbow,

So beautiful, so beautiful.

There is an arc in the rainbow,

Use the color you see!

white snow

The snow is white and clean.

This is a lovely scene.

It covers cars, trees and streets.

Let the world be quiet.

It looks very beautiful—

Until it turns into slush!

Helen H. Moore

rainstorm

Outside, thunder rumbles!

Outside, thunder and lightning!

Outside, it is raining cats and dogs!

Inside, we're safe.

Inside, we are warm.

Inside, there is comfort.

There's a storm outside!

Rainbow pigment box

I can see the rainbow,

See it in the sky, see it after the rain stops.

All the colors of the rainbow

In such a high sky,

I can name all the names for you today:

Red, rosy red, such a bright and beautiful red,

Orange is like a tiger lily leaf, so bold and brown,

Yellow as the blazing sun, giving us all the light,

As green as the grass under our feet,

Blue as bright as the sky.

Indigo, as dark as night,

Violets are like flowers.

These are the colors depicted by nature.

Sky and

After the shower.

Helen H. Moore

fog

The fog is coming.

On the kitten's feet.

It sits and watches.

Over ports and cities

Quiet hips

Then move on.

Foggy and humid

On a foggy and humid morning,

It is cloudy.

There I met an old man,

Wearing a fur coat.

Wearing a fur coat,

Against the wind and rain.

How are you?

How are you?

Say it again, hello.

Excerpt from Literacy in rigby in 2000 (with audio and video tapes; 6 books)

weather

It's very hot,

It's very cold,

The weather is changing.

As time goes by.

The sky is cloudy,

The sky is clear,

The sky is changing.

In the air.

It's raining,

It is snowing,

It's windy

The breeze blew.

It's foggy,

It's sunny,

The weather is changing.

All year round!

cloud

What is fluffy?

What is white?

What can you see?

When the sky is clear.

What can float?

What brought the rain?

What could be higher?

Is it more important than birds or airplanes?

Say it out loud:

Cloud!

By Mesh Goldis, 10 1 Science Poetry and. Songs suitable for young learners and books for teachers.

thunder

Do you know

What is thunder?

Behind those clouds

So gloomy,

A giant's child

Shut the door with a bang,

Jumping around

The sky of play

For quite a long time

In a panic.

So when you hear

Thunder, there.

The giant's child is in the air.

fog signal

Foggy, foggy, on the water,

Fog, fog, over the bay,

Foggy, foggy, the ship is like a shadow.

How do they find their own way?

On the distant water.

Hear the sound of F.

Q:

Oghorn said

"Woo-woo-woo, I'm guiding you,

Ships in the bay. "

Foggy, foggy, on the water,

Fog, fog, over the bay,

The ship moved slowly in the fog.

When the fog horn showed them the way.

Found the window glass.

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.

Draw spots on the window glass.

A wet cat splashed out with a crash.

There was a splash and a rumble outside.

A bucket of rain.

Click, click, click, click

Slide, slide, slide

Jump in the puddle, jump in the puddle.

A hand pump, a hand pump, a dump.

Sweater weather

Lisa shields

The November breeze chilled me all over,

You did it very politely.

Put the sweater on my shoulder,

Carefully flatten the wool.

Gently touch, whispered

You will claim this dress later,

And trembling will bring?

Is it what you dream of?

Suffocating greed.

You said "sweater weather".

I was swept away like a fresh oak leaf.

Into duvets and down dreams,

Where pillows can't talk.

Warm, big and small moments

When I snuggle up to you,

Ask my arm to dress me.

Give comfort to Guan Shou.

Put your arms around my waist,

Legs crossed and hips rested,

My last thought before a sweet nap

Autumn will never come.

Without you chasing the cold

In the season of sweater weather.
