On the east bank of the Fuchun River in Miaowan, Dongziguan Village, Changkou Town, Fuyang District, Hangzhou, the only fishing boat in the village is docked. It was down for four months.

On July 1, with the end of the Qiantang River fishing ban, Dongziguan Village, Changkou Town, Fuyang District will hold the first Fuchun River Fishing Festival.

Having been fishing for 40 years, he caught delicious fish in the most authentic way.

On the bank of the Fuchun River, hundreds of fishing nets are hung in a wooden shed of less than 20 square meters.

After 40 years of fishing, Xu Zengfu left behind a roomful of "treasures." Although some were damaged and some were covered with dust, he still couldn't bear to throw them away. "I make a living from them."

The Fuchun River is rich in fishery resources. All year round, bass, swordfish, shad, silver carp, river shrimp, eels, iron-shell crabs, etc. emerge in endlessly. "If there are hundreds of fish, there must be hundreds of nets." Xu Zengfu looked at it and counted it. He used thousands of fishing nets, such as large cage nets, ground cage nets, wire mesh, and T-shaped cages. In the past, once they broke, he had to patch them up piece by piece himself.

The fishermen of the Fuchun River invented various fishing methods in the process of fishing. In addition to casting nets for fishing, Xu Zengfu was also a famous fishing master.

The best time for fishing is only two hours, between high and low tide. Sometimes, it is inevitable to encounter sudden changes in weather on the river to deal with strong winds and waves. Fortunately, the small wooden boats that needed to be repaired every year have been replaced by today's iron boats.
